Nemesis Reformatted wrote:I really hate this stupid BS you guys keep pushing. If it weren't for the club we would never ever have that figure. Never ever ever. It's absolutely impossible for Hasbro to ever release that figure in any other way. TOTAL COMPLETE BULLS**t!
You guys said the same exact thing when Hasbro released Classic Thundercracker in that Botcon set.
And how many times did they re-release him after that?
Hasbro can do whatever the hell they want. Good for you! Enjoy it! But I can't enjoy mine because they made it impossible for me to get one. So I have every right to bitch about it. I despise Botcon & the TFCC. I'm glad the bastards a gone! I cheered when they announced the end of stupid Botcon. Generations Selects is a much better way to release these exclusives.
Every fan has the right to enjoy these figures. Not just a select few rich elitist &%$#^%s.![]()
If that's selfish then I'm the most selfish fan that ever existed. And I'm proud of it. I want every fan to be able to enjoy this hobby equally. Not this segregation by financial status BS. Everybody who wants these figures should be able to purchase them easily. I feel sorry for everybody that has to go without the figures they want. Like with the recent Amazon fiasco. It's all a huge load of BS!
And all the jerks that are like "Ha ha! I got mine & you didn't get one. You suck! Nah nah!"
"Nah Nah! I got some ice cream & you didn't get none!" -Eddie Murphy

Otherwise, it's just a big flap piece hanging off the side of a figure for no functional purpose.Nuclearxpotato wrote:But what if there was a Cyberkey Blast Effect? You have the top disc part that can plug onto a character to make them appear as if they're using it. Maybe add an extra power crackle that can plug between the key and the figure and an attachable bottom part for displaying it off of figures.
I think that'd be a fun homage, especially if they did an accessory pack that included different variants.
Of all the Unicron Trilogy gimmicks, Cyber Keys were the best gimmick in how they were both functional yet nonintrusive.
I just don't see them doing the full blown gimmick of the cyber key since it was usually a massive block that'd unfurl with springs. Maaaaaybe we'll get a little taste of it with the Titan, but certainly not in any other figure. I don't really expect them to do the full sha-bang with Minicon Powerlinxing either... we'll probably get the Minicons and they'll attach to hardpoints, maybe they'll have some fold out weapon gizmos to justify it.
I grew up with UT, but couldn't afford a full-sized figure until the 07 Toyline (imagine your first full toys being Voyager Ironhide and Deluxe Payload...) so while I love UT, I don't have attachments to the toy gimmicks themselves. So my perspective on them is kinda unusual in that way.
AcademyofDrX wrote:I can't vouch for it, but I recall the rumormongers said that the Micromasters were viewed internally at Hasbro as a disappointment and wouldn't be returning. At the very least, there isn't a Legacy size class for Minicons, and a pair wouldn't fit on a Core class card. I'm not saying Minicons can't or won't happen, but I wouldn't hold my breath, especially if there are only a handful of UT figures expected. A Minicon pack-in with the Titan is a no-brainer, but that might be it.
He's a Core class figure, meaning he'll be itty bitty tiny.soundwave765 wrote:I am excited to see Ratchet on the list. Fingers crossed we also get reissues of G1 styled/era prowl and Ironhide, since I missed the 2 pack from Amazon.

Watch the core class look better in both modes than the Deluxe lol

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
She is happening, but apparently Nightbeat isn't (or at least he's not mainline). The current theory (based on hints from a leaker) is that Elita 1 is a pretool of Minerva and isn't a Headmaster, though whether Minerva is one is unknown.Munkky wrote:Minerva if it is indeed happening
Munkky wrote:Good to see we finally have confirmation on Knock Out. With all we know so far, I plan on buying:
Deluxe
Tarantulas
Arcee
Elita-1
Knock Out
Minerva if it is indeed happening
Voyager
Bulkhead
Inferno
Armada Starscream
the $29.99 Soundwave if it's something other than G1 Soundwave
Leader
Transmetal 2 Megatron
Blitzwing
G2 Optimus Prime if it turns out good.
If the Titan is Cybertron Metroplex, I'll reserve judgment until we actually see it before I decide.
