Movie season continues to be a blast

I really want to see them give this a Beast Wars reskin. Don't even need to change change the sound chip.

Got my Selects Guardian Robot from the TFSource sale. Only $160, that's the best price yet AFAIK. I just wish TFS would use more tape on their boxes, one strip on the top and bottom isn't enough for a huge box like this. Still, beats the fragile $170 m.2 solid state drive I got from Amazon today that they shipped in an unpadded paper bag.

My other Mandarake box arrived already! It better be at 5K of shipping for two small bots.

Anyway, I got Henkei Starscream and the Takara AoE voyager Galvatron at last!



I always loved that Galvatron but the Hasbro version was so drab. But now, I have the colorful Takara version and he's just amazing! Too bad the truck's smokestacks are not painted. But appart that, at last I have him in my collection!



It just took me 14 years of TF collecting, but I have the classic Seekers trio at last. And since I didn't have SW or TC, might as well do it grandiosely and go full HENKEI!



I love the colors and the chrome. They are a joy to handle as usual.

However, TC couldn't wear his null-rays properly in bot mode because the ports on his arms were absurdly loose. I had to replace the screws of his shoulders and do the "crazy glue thing" in the ports of his arms. The fix worked and thank God I didn't made a mess.



Counting shipping, all of these were expensive as fuk, but eh, YOLO!

Went on a fun day out with my son and ended up at a Target about 45 minutes away. It was an absolute wonderland of treasures compared to my local Target!

I found the Optimus Primal battlemaster at Walmart and the Target Scorponok/Sandspear battlemater set within the past week to get me complete on them so far. I'm loving the battlemasters.

Couple new packages arrived

I was eying it for a while but didn't want to pay full price.

After a real sale, I got the ROTB Bee with the Big Black Panther armor thing!

I went to see ROTB in theatre and they had "Bravo" class transformers for sale!

I could finally find Arcee!



The bot is not too bad. She's fairly posable and she hold her gun well.



But transforming her is not fun. Things pop off and on, the knees thing are not explained in the manual, the tabs kept being undone and her gun just hold by gravity as her "car tail". The vehicle, once you manage to do it, is pretty nice looking though.



Normally, the Bravo TF are 8 or 10$CAN plus taxes at Canadian Tire. But in the theatre, they were 12$CAN plus taxes. They are not worth it at that price, but I was still glad to have finally found Bravo Arcee.

Yeah, that Arcee is definitely a frustrating figure to transform. The knees are pretty dumb and getting the whole thing to stay in car mode takes a lot of effort. For US$5 it feels like they took something that should be simple and made it as convoluted as possible. Would it kill them to use simple hinged knees and proper pegs for the panels instead of weird knee sockets and friction? At least she comes with a gun, she's the only Autobot that does.

Got the Transformers Lite-Brite wall art from the Pulse sale today. It shipped from a different warehouse from the rest of my order so it shipped alone. The rest of my order just shipped today.

Funny enough I had an order from the Mattel store (MotUO Grizzlor) arrive today, too. What are the chances I'd get a box from both Hasbro and Mattel in the same day on the same FedEx truck?

Finally found Evolution Deluxe wave 2 at Walmart this morning, they had them all up on the top shelf despite the pegs being pretty empty. Grabbed a Shrapnel since he seems to be the hardest one to get of the bunch.
