This has happened to me too, on multiple computers at multiple sites. I figured it was a script in some of the Google ads. I have been running multiple Malware scanners, including one I highly favor, Malwarebytes, and all is clean at this time. It is very intermittent.
It only seems to happen on Google Chrome for me. I'm considering switching to Firefox for some of the script blocking...

I saw something similar to it happen for me on a different site than this one, but instead of redirecting to a variety of advertisement websites, it would instead keep redirecting to the same place.Agamemnon wrote:Is anybody else starting to see the intermittent advertising re-direct again? But instead of being another advertising website, it was this time a software site claiming that my Google Chrome browser software was not fully up-to-date, and insisted that I click its link immediately to upgrade to the latest software versions.
I refused to do so each time, however, and simply uninstalled and re-installed Google Chrome, which seems to have fixed the issue on my end.

In an effort to be a team player, and in regards to sightings, I have been trying to update Store locations in my area(Omaha, Nebraska), but my submissions are going unnoticed and/or unchanged. When I first joined I was told by an admin that the site had a problem communicating with Outlook/Hotmail. Could this be the issue?
Before I joined I used the sightings section for years. It has always been helpful. Just want to give back.
Thanks C-tron
