Thanks!
Ginga rebirth: ginga tensei
Instincts Awaken: honno kakusei
Where did you get "suit up" from? If you tell me the series I'll know the proper transformation call by heart.

That Bot wrote:"Chakusou" is also, coincidentally, Space Sheriff Sharivan's transformation call. And I think it's used in a Chou Sei Shin show as well. It's a phrase that finds its way around toku.
"Earth..home to countless forms of life. A Human and 4 Zyumen have met each other, forming their own herd to defend this planet!"

Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'
Sabrblade wrote:First look at the Ranger suits for the Power Rangers remake movie:
They're apparently supposed to be alien suits that grow around the wearers' bodies.

Bradimus wrote:Another thing that drives me nuts is the translation being used in the introduction to Zyuohger. The sub I'm watching has seemingly settled on "caravan" which makes no sense. The wiki page has this quote:"Earth..home to countless forms of life. A Human and 4 Zyumen have met each other, forming their own herd to defend this planet!"
But wouldn't pack make more sense than herd? In English anyway, I have no idea what the Japanese word is so if it translates to herd then herd it is.

I don't know what TV-Nihon is doing but I hate it on principle.
Meanwhile Over-Time is deliberately changing the phrasing each week to a different word for a specific group of animals. Flock, herd, congress, etc. I think that's kind of clever.
regarding the new Ranger suits, I'm kind of indifferent to them. I wish the helmets were more defined and unique. I'm a bit annoyed that the girls have heels and huge breasts because OMG GIRLS. These are early designs, though, so they may be tweaked by the time the film comes out. Especially if (god help us) the suits are CG.

That Bot wrote:It was worse when I kept my anime on there, too. The disc almost filled up. Ultimately I bought another external hard drive and split them off, and then started downloading a bunch more stuff to get to where I am now.
If only the same could be said for its Power Rangers counterpart, "Trakeena's Revenge", which sadly wasn't one of the better team ups.Bradimus wrote:In Sentai watching news, I'm through episode 31 of GoGoV so I watched the team up with Gingaman. It was good, one of the better ones, actually. Somehow those too series' characters matched up well.
