Excuse me, but - "WTF" (c), as they say???
At level 2 the minimal XP for Decepticons stated as 0.0!!!
Someone tell me how one can be a lvl2 with no XP!!!

Or, if that's a mistake, you should correct it before presenting the table to us :)

Alternatively Elcor, you could learn to read what Tammuz has written before sniping at him about a chart that he didnt create?

OK, you're right.
But what I was trying to say (though, I admit, in slightly less-then-civilised manner) is that one can't trust a chart with such an obvious mistake in it.

And, BTW, even the chart don't say that at each level Autobots take more XP to level up then Decepticons. What it does tell, for me, is that at the top levels Autobots are planning their designs more carefully. And at medium and low levels it seems to be more or less random.

About the topic - I personally don't mind about switching sides... But some kind of penalty should be established, IMO, both in XP and energon.

thats the problem. the high level commanders leave. so what happens? the active lower level bots move to con. tracks had levels 6 and lower. losing a level 6 players is a hard hit. new players wont solve it when the upper levels are off balance still and it will deter those players from playing(both missions and in general) and staying bot.

Well my understanding is, it was done to encourage the AWC to actively recruit three high level 'Cons to replace him.

And OS, this was a mistake. You made it an AWC thing. If you want high level 'Cons recruited send the message out where it matters. HERE! Not some off site forum which only a handful of Autobots will see.

Even if the intentions were to get AWC members back here, you're going to have better luck recruiting with non-AWC members involved as well.

That's what we have the bulletins for.

And I said it elsewhere ... i'm sick of the 'Cons constantly propping up with the higher level 'Bot ranks. Just like i'm against side swapping unless it's positively absoloutely necessary and benefits the game.

Someone sig this...

Burn I agree and respect that opinion 110% You chose a side to start with STICK with it, the laws of probability mean that things would eventually even out.

Well unfortunately i've yet to see the laws or probability apply to balancing in HMW.

Okay it MAY happen, but if it does it would take months. Why therefore, should high level 'Cons have to suffer xp gains, why should they watch as their bots slip in rankings because there's little xp to gain while outnumbered Autobots who may lose often, reap the xp of attacking a large number of targets?

Why should low level 'Cons be held down because of the mass of low level Autobots outnumbering them?

Yeah, it MAY balance out eventually, but it's not fair to those who do stick with the game, it frustrates them which in the end drives people from the game.

I don't like seeing players switch, but if it's absoloutely necessary for the game then yes. But if it serves no purpose other than "oh i'm bored even though I have plenty of opposition i'd like to switch" then screw 'em! Live with what you have and think about the game as a whole not your own wishes.

This is, after all, suppose to be a team oriented game, not individual glory.

We'd eventually end up back at the same situation.

Don't get me wrong I never said I was for the "R" but even with more players it won't help if they're all on the same side, though with more around more often could be benificial.

first things first I agree on the switching part BUT I don't agree with people giving the people who switched a hard time causing them to quit or lose intresst in a GAME!!!! (those who I mean know how they are)

Other than that I have no prob with higher cons switching to give their fellow cons more of a competition. If higher bots lose intresst in the game then it's their prob not "ours" but I think that should be enough of my 2 cents to this topic

Yes, just because someone changes factions doesn't give the right for someone to attack them and push them out the door. Some people gotta stop and realize its just a game theres no need for that type of behaviour.

Sorry Burn I should have been more clear, it wasnt here it happened and I simple posted because I am making a point , I hate hearing from my good friend about actions of others because he switched sides. It's just a game people , if it makes you that mad that someone want to play as a con instead of a bot or a bot instead of a con , then maybe you should turn of the computer and get some fresh air.

Very true, some people take things waaaaaaaay to seriously around here I've noticed.

If they get this mad over something that happens in a game on the internet, I'd hate to see them in real life if they get mad about something.

im not mad the person who changed sides, it is that the switch was allowed to occur. thus my point i was trying to make over and over again was that switching should not occur unless its restrictive and for balancing/necessity. there was a reason why the switch never occurred with glyph because it messed up the balance. you have to take the individual players out of this and focus on the larger issue. that being side switching, not who did what or when. this is not an attack on os or anyone who switch sides, its frustration that i know others share that this has occurred.

there is a difference between being mad at what happened or being mad at someone compared to being frustrated that it happened in general. thats the point im trying to make. it could have been any bot and it could have been any admin who did the switch. its the fact of how it occurred and why. i would hope that if i made the switch (either switch someone or myself) that someone would say the same thing i did (unless its for game balance and necessity). so no, im not mad at anyone. i was more frustrated that it occurred.
