Hasbro have updated their site with many new pictures of the toys including some interesting bio of some of the characters. Here is the most interesting about Shockwave.

"Cruelly efficient and unfeelingly logical, Shockwave came to Earth in search of the AllSpark shortly after Megatron. His cold devotion to logic and his peerless intellect, combined with his raw physical strength, make him one of the few Decepticons that can truly be called Megatron's rival. Remember the Laserbeak scene from the trailer?

It definitely takes place at Pripyat (the ghost city which was mostly affected by the Chernobyl disaster).
Here is a picture of Pripyat (Chernobyl) with it's abandoned Ferry Wheels

So this means that Laserbeak (and maybe Soundwave) are searching for Shockwave at Chernobyl and we know that Ironhide, Prime and Lenox have a side mission in Ukraine so maybe they'll all meet there in a classic battle scene.

We know he's responsible (in the filverse) for the Tunguska event, so I wouldn't be surprised if an attempted escape resulted in Chernobyl.
