No. I have scripts set up to perform all the calculations and it appears since the crash they aren't kicking in now even when I launch it manually. It may be the addition of the beasties that have caused a problem. At this point I'm not sure.

Oh well. Back to the drawing board :roll:

Well it did change but it didn't add anything just eliminated all the commom and rare alts

Ok, this is unsettling... I just checked the list, and only the core alts are in there. I doubt that's part of the way the rotator works... And it looks like I'm not alone in this.

I just looked in there, but something's not right. If ALL of the alt modes are supposed to be open now, why is it that a number of the common and rare alts are still gone? Like say, all the common and rare dragons for the Maximals? I dunno, just seems weird to me. Unless the rotator finally got it's act together or something... Course, it could just always be me...

Yes but there are too many rares on the list. And some of the alts I have on my team don't exist on that list anymore. I'm not sure if it's a normal rotation or if some of them got left off. And there's no way to view the Predacon Faction's alts. But I thought I'd give a head's up.

Seems like and sounds like it's a normal rotation, since it's 105 alts, same as before.

It's kind of a same case scenario for us Maximals too. Though I didn't notice too many rares, there certainly are a lot of commons though, and some of the classes that had commons and rares before didn't get them replaced, as well as having 107 this time, as before I think... But I think it's probably running fine now. It did that before the crash, though with more predictability. Every two weeks, we'd have a few classes disappear, or some classes would have core alts only. That's how it worked back then, and that's still how it works now, right OS?

That would be the point of a rotator, yes. When it's working, that's exactly what it's supposed to do.

Exactly, that's the way rotators are supposed to work, regardless of how they're set up. I'm just not sure if this one is set up to be more random than last time, or if it's still set up the way it was before the crash. Either way, I think it's working correctly.

I don't see anything different now with the rotator than before the reset...except that it took maybe about 50min-1hour to put up the new alts.

It's working the same as before the crash.

Could have been worse. *old man voice* Used to be that we had to beg and plead with the mods to get a alt mode rotation, and that rare event was at the whim of whatever moderator did it wanted. Back before we had these new fangled beastie factions and even tournaments. Back in the cold black days when the Bootcamp was allowed.
