Scalpers. Each Leader case is one G1 Megs and one Arada Megs per case. People keep buying one and leaving the other.RiddlerJ wrote:Why is G1 Leader Megatron so rare? Shortpacked? Scalpers? LUPUS? IS IT LUPUS?

It might be a little LUPUS too. Or Scurvy.Sabrblade wrote:Scalpers. Each Leader case is one G1 Megs and one Arada Megs per case. People keep buying one and leaving the other.RiddlerJ wrote:Why is G1 Leader Megatron so rare? Shortpacked? Scalpers? LUPUS? IS IT LUPUS?

Scalpers? Why not just regular collectors?

That's what I was thinking. Are we seeing stores flooded with nothing but a dozen Armada Megs somewhere? Most I've seen is two cases worth of figures on the shelf at a time, nothing that would make me thing the two missing G1 Megs were scalped and not bought by collectors. I keep finding lone Voyager Primes, too. I guess the scalpers keep buying the Silverbolt figures.

He's a very cool figure, probably the best-looking deco of that mold. I got mine off of eBay awhile back since, at the time, it was a cheaper price than what Amazon was selling him for, and it included free shipping. Though, I didn't pick him up specifically to use as Budora, but instead to use as the Star Seeker Thunderlane from the TCC journal entries written by Tornado on his Facebook, which was an official repurpose of Budora by the Club.william-james88 wrote:It was mentioned on the podcast that Transformers GO! Bodora was very cheap on amazon so I took a look. Not only is he currently 23$ but the shipping to canada is free and I dont get any taxes imposed. It was a no brainer and I took it. These are basically Lena prices for a brand new item in box. If anyone cares, here's the link.

It IS a nice deal and he does have a new head and a shiny coat of paint. However, I already have the Target Exclusive version of the mold (Darksteel) and I'm not a fan. The quality feel cheap-ass as fawk and nothing properly lock into place. I'll have to watch a review to see if the mold's issues are fixed for this version.
...
Okay, I saw a review, and meh... For 23$CANADIAN I would have been tempted... a bit. But in US$, nope. I really don't like the mold enough to indulge.
Thanks anyway, and keep an eye open for some more deal! I know that eventually, you will find something that I truly can't resist. Hey, it already happenned with big Convoy so fingers crossed for future findings1
