He didn't, but they acknowledged this in the video you can actually watch on Hasbro Pulse's YouTube channel. It's actually Megatron's chair from the Nemesis.

It looks like they did just repurpose the TR Perceptor mold for this 'new' version, minus the headmaster gimmick.

It looks like that to you, but having TR and Legends Perceptor I can assure you he's not at all this figure.

It wasn't in the movie. It's the captain's chair of the Nemesis that Megatron sat in way back in Episode 1 of the cartoon.

Did I miss the pictures or reveal of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee deluxe origin figure? I don't remember it being news.

Apparently it's available through Target's website. I was kind of stunned to see the figure. Very nostalgic. https://www.target.com/p/transformers-b ... nk=sametab

Why are the Null Ray rifles hanging from the shoulder armor like that? That's not the way it's supposed to be. Looks ridiculous. Starscream clearly still has them on his arms like normal in the movie when he blasts the trumpets.
Honestly, even though he's my favorite character, after seeing this, it's most likely a pass.

It actually came out over the summer with zero fanfare since it's a Target exclusive and up to them to hype. We have a dedicated Buzzworthy Bumblebee topic you can talk about it in.

Because the shoulder pads peg into the holes making them unusable, this was the compromise they made to get his guns in roughly the right place.

Not to mention doing so without further compromising the figure's shoulder articulation.

To be fair, a 3P throne will cost as much as the whole leader set ironically.

Better ask someone who don't care about the throne part if he can sell it to you instead.

Maybe... But I'd bet there's a chance that the throne itself will be better, and/or will be packed with something that Coronation SS doesn't come with.
So overall it could be $60+, but would actually be worth it.

Selling the Rodimus trailer makes NO sense. buying it even less so. Like for the Unicron stand. Like, why? just why?

However, that throne makes sense to get rid of. It doesn't fit at all with Starscream and can be used everywhere else.

From a selling perspective I can see it. Roddy's trailer is this big piece of plastic that needs a lot of room. Plus he's a complete Transformer without it. Meaning that you really don't need it to give him a vehicle mode (unlike the G1 toy, for example).

Buying it .... maybe if you damaged yours. It has a lot of paint. Maybe, if you're a seller, saving it for about a decade down the line when people are selling incomplete Roddys.

Unicron's stand is weird. Apparently he can stand without it, so maybe people see it as unnecessary. But you'll never be able to get him in alt mode again. As for buying it ..... I'd only get it as insurance in case my stand breaks, but still. Weird to sell or buy.

People selling Unicron's head all alone makes the least sense of all. Apparently two more of those auctions were completed in ebay.ca's history. I mean ... what are you gonna do with that giant body?

Well, here's Unicron wearing two other Unicron heads:

Image
Image

EDIT: I just tried out a few random large Headmaster heads on Unicron's body. The heads of Titan class Scorponok, Titan class Grand Maximus (TR Fort Max mold), and Car Robots Brave Maximus (G1 Fort Max mold) all just sit very loosely on Uncron's body, as expected.

BUT, the Robots in Disguise 2001 Megatron Megabolt mold (the one based on Beast Machines Megatron's big floating head) actually sits rather snuggly on Unicron's body. I tried it both with and without the spider legs, and the legs actually help to secure it in place! The rear legs rotated upward line up rather well with Unicron's collar, the middle legs rotated to point backward wrap around the collar's front edges, and the front legs just rest on the top of Unicron's chest.

This means that one of (if not the) most accomplished Megatrons ever has a toy that can actually interact with the Unicron toy in a somewhat decent fit, allowing him to appear to possess Unicron's body, yeeeeesss.
