Hey guys,
I've been helping out Stormrider and First Gen with the recent Transtopia newsletter (if you haven't seen it, look in the news) and Stormrider is looking for a way to improve on how it looks.
I suggested tables. However, he, like me, has absoloutely no idea how to get them to work on these forums.
And I know there's a couple of you guys out there who do. So i'm asking those that do, if you can drop Stormrider (or even myself if you must) a pm with a how to it'd be very much appreciated.

As far as I know, you cant anymore.
Before the forum 'upgrade', you were able to use HTML code, which was very useful, but you cant use that anymore, and I dont know if this forum allows the use of tables in phpcode.

OS said it was supposed to still work but a whole bunch of tables I had set up in the Maximal forum broke after the upgrade and I haven't been able to get them to work anymore. I don't think html code is functioning in posts as far as tables are concerned.
Have you had your Seibergasm today?

Also, as a side note, there used to be a place in the User Control Panel that enabled/disable HTML in the previous version. And, down below the emoticons on the right of the post window it used to say HTML ON I think and it no longer says that. I wonder if that option was turned off for security reasons or something along with the avatar ability.

I think most of the missing elements are a result of a rushed inplementaion/lack of planning as oposed to a consious decision.
As a tourny runner, and as the person who does the xp tables, and as someone who (when I have time) likes to do the full rankings of the preds, I could *really* use the tables.

You're on PHP3bb right? You can customize it as much as you want but only if you're an Admin. What you're going to need is to get with the Admin and co-ordinate custom coding the bits you're going to want to work. If you get with an artist of some sort you can even cook up some skins for the forum to make it more pleasing to the eyes.

Would kinda be easier if a person was assigned to be resource manager for the site. You know, to admin things such as these.
We can all appreciate how busy the admins are with keeping the site going, so why not grab someone fresh to deal with all the little niggles?
