In all the fiction I've seen and read, the one that stands out as having given the spotlight to Bluestreak more than any other fiction has was the much-reviled Transformers Trilogy novels (A.K.A. the "Keepers Trilogy") written by Scott Ciencin and David Cian, in which he was portrayed not as a yammering blabbermouth, but instead as a tortured soul with a heavy chip on his shoulder after his having been killed in combat by Jazz (the two were forced to fight each other to the death lest some innocent humans be killed in cold blood, and Bluestreak was willing to let Jazz be the victor to prevent further human killings), and then having his corpse being reanimated and possessed by a Keeper as its new host body. He got his life back later, but the possession left him as an unwilling sleeper agent of the Keepers until they were finally destroyed, freeing him completely in the end, but not without having endured so much misery and torment through it all.

According to TakaraTomyMall the release date for MP-18B Blue Streak has been delayed from August 1 to September 29! Stranger still the website has Blue Streak's release date at August 29th. Rather it's 8/29 or 9/29 it's a slight delay and will be here soon enough! While you wait why not check out Seibertron.com's gallery of the original release of Masterpiece Bluestreak MP-18 here.
