repainting a BB into goldbug is fine for generations, but not MP. theyre not similar enough.

Anyway, glad he's almost here! With all those dozens of pre-release unites circulating around, I was beginning to feel like I was the only one without the figure.

@Vaal: that's Spike in the exosuit. But yeah, it could be used as Daniel too. Might also look nice next to LG10 Arcee.

It looks more like Davey from Davey & Goliath.

Besides, why would they pair Bumblebee with Daniel when the two were almost never in the same room as each other in all the movie or the cartoon, while Spike spent the entire movie with Bumblebee?

I'm guessing people are mixing it up as Daniel since he was the more active (and more memorable) one in the exo suit. It's never focused on that Spike is wearing or using one. Even though he is, AND is the first to be seen in it. I guess the exo suit is just more synonymous with Daniel, given how the movie proceeds.

I have more issue with the way the exosuit looks than anything else. Its really blocky, malformed and has many hollow bits.

With all the effort that goes into this line, it's kind of a slap in the face how little Takara actually cares about making the humans look like actual human beings.

On the other hand, Takara caring so little about the MP humans also kinda seems like a reflection of the fandom, in how a large chunk of it cares so little about human characters in general, especially in the movies.

bbts are usually kind of slow with getting stuff in stock before other shops.
my bumblebee came in stock at HLJ on thursday, and this morning he was shipped out to me.

Bah, I paid for mine a couple days ago, but somehow paying for the shipping had escaped me till you mentioned it. Now he's gonna arrive even later. Oh well.

That's a pretty lame excuse for poor workmanship... (especially since these are G1, not movie, designs...)

When Takara puts so much effort into making the exo-suit itself look sharp and accurate, you can't tell me it's okay for the human head to look like a melted crayon because the fans don't care about human characters.
