Star Saber is an Autobot Brainmaster from the Victory portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Back to the awesomeness that is Star Saber. I'm really liking that the size of this guy might make him fit into my Classics shelves.



I'm getting Ultra Magnus too, but he is far too big for Classics. And this makes me realize that I can understand why some think Star Saber might be a shade too small...

At this point, my biggest issue with Saber's size is if he turns out to be smaller than any future MP release of Perceptor, as the two were of equal height in the cartoon, so I don't want Perceptor to be taller than him.

Yet, Perceptor was also about the same height as Blaster, who was the same height as Soundwave, whose MP is the same height as Optimus's, so...

Well, you can love or hate Saber, but he is superaccurate, judging from what we've seen so far. So he's hardly an amateur's attempt.

And, as a Victory fan, I cry tears of joy. Manly tears of joy.

Well that's the beauty of opinions. Everyone has them and sometimes the less popular ones in their fandom (not to detract from your's value) and it is nice to see how people react and express them in interesting ways.

I do think that last minute base modes were never in style. Takara just wanted to have a Citybot gimmick in a toy that wasn't designed to be one.
