Hmmm.
Dude, you're talking about the hasbro one

Haha I got mixed up. I'm stupid. They look the same to me other than the wheels.
Whatever it's a Japan import, let Japan have their fun with it, but I don't really care about that thing.
So why are you even following and commenting in this thread?!?!?!?!
Because I wanted to share my distaste for this 30th repaint of the same Bumblebee figure.

But it's not, it's a TT release for
their public

- separate from the profit-focused ones hasbro used to splurge out, which, by the way, they've gotten much better about within the rid line

This is Takara's
FIRST repaint of this toy.
Second, counting the season finale version

No, thats a full on retool, and the alt mode didnt have any deco difference from the original. This is the first figure that is just an actual repaint.

Hey X, Funny thing. when I was in high school I drew up a movie Bumblebee and then copied the image and then colored it in about 15 different color schemes. Your ideas here actually cover all of them

now for my thoughts on Black Knight Bee: They seem to like the black knight theme, and that is ok with me Black Knight sounds cool and the deco really is nice

Oh, don't think I'm being hard on Takara alone. Hasbro is equally guilty in using poor Bumblebee as a crutch when they run out of ideas for figures to repaint and 'redeco'. While Bumblebee is a fine character, they have just made so many of him that people are growing weary of it. Like pop-rocks, you can only jam so many into your mouth before it becomes cloy...

It'd have been cool if TT used a hypothetical pre-tooled head of BB with his mask on for the black knight redeco, it would've made him look really

This would have been awesome, considering Bee, Swipe and Strongarm all have facemasks in the show.

Hear, hear! Far too often I hear scorn and derision heaped upon poor Bumblebee, with the perpetrators not realizing 'tis not Bee's fault that he gets redecoed eleventy-billion times. It's nice to see some people recognize this fact as well.

In fairness Hasbro has been pretty easy on us when it comes to BB, we haven't had one in the Generations line since, what, 2013? They could have easily done some while doing Age of Extinction and RID, but they seem to have learned that collectors aren't kids and we have a wider variety of favorite characters.

And plus, during AOE, they had a character who<s whole point was being a BB repaint (stinger) and yet they didnt release a deluxe of that and the toys of him found in other classes were all walmart exclusives. So each Bee from AOE only had one toy per mold.

I am 100% certain that if they did we would have gotten just as many
"Not another bee repaint" comments. Takara did one and we want one too. I would have preferred getting that 2 headed shockwave we saw in the movie but since Takara didnt make or release a toy like that no one cared. Its the golden rule of fandom, we only want what we cant get and the grass is always greener.

Yeah, but that's shockwave, all they had to do was have him hunch over and attach the cannon to him for us to be happy
