Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Black Shadow's paint looks far better. There are more pin stripes and trim. There are yellow highlighted bits all over. His forearms are painted black. Sky Shadow's aren't.Sabrblade wrote:If Ryan got him, we should expect to see a gallery with comparison pics between Black Shadow and Sky Shadow.

Nope I'm not. Got them today. Bumblebee is... Warrior Class Bumblebee with a new weapon and lots of clear plastic.

WHAT?!?!?!? I have yet to receive a shipping notification and you already have yours?!?!?
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Leave it to Takara to go that extra mile and retool the existing Warrior Bumblebee, to better represent the look of the character, during the final episodes of season 1 of RID. Some fans might be a little concerned about the use of translucent plastic but one cannot deny the overall cool look it gives the toy. In the end this is still the same Bumblebee that's been released 3 times already in the US, so I have a hard time recommending this to anyone but the dedicated collector.
Animated Swoop did too. Guess it's just the way the mold is.

No one knows. It's probably just a unique deco not based on anything. Or it's just a similar deco concept to Grimlock and Slug in using black with another color (Grimlock: Green and black, Slug: Purple and black, Swoop: Red and black).william-james88 wrote:Oh wow, I didnt know the wings were unpainted on the animated version. I quite like the deco on TAV Swoop, anyone know what it is referencing?

Though, if one attributes Slug's purple to AOE Slug's toy, then maybe Swoop's red comes from the red of G1 Swoop's toy.
FOC Swoop's colors are G1 Swoop's colors. Silver, red, black, and with the translucent beak interpreted as gold like all the G1 fiction did:william-james88 wrote:It seems to follow the color pattern for FOC Swoop, which technically is the same Swoop (though I dont agree with that interpretation of the timeline):
