Cobotron do you have both TAV-21 and TAV-33 and if so do you like one better than the other? The answer could be obvious but I thought I would ask anyway. :-P

Cobotron only has TAV 33 while I only have TAV 21.

Hey Nemy D. I do not have TAV-21. I was very interested in him, but I'm always hesitant to get to many OP toys. I really dug his compatability with the warrior class figures. I missed out on all the discounted pre-orders from Japanese e-tailers. So I figured I'd figure it out later after knocking out some other priorities.

Then Takara showed TAV-33, and that's all I needed to see. An awesome deco to differentiate him from other Primes. All that chrome is super slick. He comes with all the weapons plus that giant chromed sword. And then the minicon integration. That set the hook in this fish's mouth.
Also an important difference is 33 doesn't have the quick draw gimmick that 21 has.

I don't know if one is better than the other, but 33 was the one for me.
It's worth mentioning that for the first time all year I found there was no real advantage in terms of price with ordering this fig direct from Japan. After shipping, he ended up being the same price as BBTS, so I just went that route.

Cobotron I got that same problem on getting another OP/Convoy into my collection and most times I end up getting it. :-P

I did decided to pass up on TAV-21 when I saw first looks at TAV-33.

Thanks for your feedback on this epic looking figure. I'm actually glad TAV-33 doesn't have that lame spring loading gimmick, it doesn't need it. I can't wait when this gets to my doorstep! :DANCE:

It has been a while since we were shown something new from Takara's TAV and TED lines, but this should make up for it. Firstly, the Snakas Blog has some new images of the previously reported Legion class figures:

TAV34 EZ collection team Bumblebee VS Megatronus

TAV35 EZ collection Autobots VS Decepticons set

We also got brand new images from TF Yuki for TED16 Big Thunderhoof (based on 3-step thunderhoof):

Lastly, Yuki also gave us a nice look at their version of Warrior Fracture, TAV36:

Dammit! I spent enough oney this year on the superior takara decos that I told myself I would stick with hasbro this year. It will be hard.

Will, I'm telling you, the differences are minimal. You can go for the Hasbro release on this one, and not regret it.

Wow, they did some justice to the minicon shoulder pads. And the stear skull on the fearing of the bike looks tuff. Reminds me of Oil Slick.

Does Hasbro's gun have red paint on it too? Its things like that which make me go nuts.

Also, while I like your beaver joke, we actually have loonies which is just as funny but true. Our dollar has a canadian goose on it (I know I know, BIG SHOCK!), and the name of that bird is also a loon, so we call it a loonie. But then we are made fun of for being Looney

I don't know how I feel about how deep that purple looks, maybe just the way the camera is catching it. I like some of the paint on Hasbro's (red on his tummy and silver on shoulders) and some on Takara's (mo' paint on fakicons and in alt mode) better.

Hasbro's is very nice and I'm very happy with it. Does this help ya Will?

I can feel ya on alt mode. I may have to take a paint marker to him. My robrobuddies stay in bot mode except for photo ops and play time, so it's not a big deal for me.

Either way (has or tak), Fracture is an amazing figure for the line. Easily one of the best so far.
