What's more is that the blue and red are the same shades as the original Micron Densetsu Starscream Super Mode toy instead of the less nicer blue and red of the original Armada Thundercracker toy.OptimalOptimus2 wrote:I'll get this toy just for the blue. No kidding.![]()

Accidentally.

That said, I'm satisfied with Hasbro's like everyone else he so far. The pink highlights clash with the rest I of the color scheme and the paint just can't quite capture the look of the glowing bits. Takara's WFC and FoC figures had the same problem IMHO.

LG20 Skids appears to be sporting a very comic accurate color scheme as well. According to dengekihobby.com LG20 Skids will be released in May and cost 3,100 yen.
So are you excited to have a MTMTE accurate Skids? Remember to post your comments below.

Yeah, they should've just all been leader class figures with fiber-optics running along their bodies

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Ha! I hope it wouldn't take that much!![]()
I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining about what they didn't do, but just observe what they might not be able to do. I'm just not convinced they can get paint that looks like that kind of glow (and not...you know...paint), at least not within even Takara's higher budget guidelines.
I should have mentioned that my Hasbro figure is Reprolabled. The foil decals do a fairly good job, since they have a patterned design and the reflectiveness "lights" them, but that's not something I'd automatically expect or demand from Hasbro or Takara.
Now, if you all will excuse me, I'm off to search my soul for why I think pink stripes on blue and red is ugly, yet enjoy Jhihaxus' orange deco.
