Are you using your discounts, or are you using the actual price someone else will have it as when it comes out? Cause if I could get this guy for $100 and free shipping (which I think was mentioned) then I would totally go for it over the Hasbro most likely
Its not free shipping, its that the toy itself costs 90$. Here is the Bruticus listing on Nippon yassan:
https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/15 ... ticus.html
But with shipping, it probably would be more near 120$ than 100$. And thats if you ship it alone, who knows the added discount you,d get from the total cost if you ship things together. it will be a bit cheaper than price before shipping at BBTS. But the point was not that everyone's cost for Takara would be cheaper than hasbro's, it was just that the difference is negligible for all the extra effort takara has put into their version.
If you can get the free shipping by going above 150$ at tfsource, I feel that is the best option of americans, especially those uneasy about buying directly from japan, in case something goes wrong and an item must be returned.
For someone in canada or australia though, theres no question, buying from japan will always be cheaper than buying from BBTS or anywhere else.

Sowndwave76 wrote:One thing I would like to see next time, is combiners where the characters who are the "leg-bots" are just slight larger (taller as a leg) to help with the overall proportions. For me, in combined mode, the arms are too long. I know, small issue. Just my opinion.
If the bot as a leg was an inch(+) taller, for me that would make a substantial difference. Yeah, some people would say "the knee joints are too high on the legs...", and "Now my Brawl can't be an arm without Brut looking like a gorilla".
But this would add some substantial height without ALL 5 figures having to be bigger (which yes, would be nice, but the $$$ constraints would probably never allow for that anyway).
Plus for me, an awesome looking combiner trumps the leg figures not working as arms.
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I don't plan on changing any of the combiners' original limb formations.

However, speaking of the little details, it still bugs me that they left the passenger windows all along the sides of the fuselage from the Silverbolt version of the mold. Is Scattershot supposed to be some kind of futuristic commercial passenger spaceship?

Don't think of them as windows but little power level indicators for his nose cannon. The more of them are glowing, the higher a charge he can shoot. All techy and whatnot.

Is it Afterburner that is tipping the scale? He seems to be the one member Hasbro is getting the same way. Though I do wonder if Hasbro will be changing his head as well.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
