Think about it, a Gun turret doesn't violate the toy gun laws cause it's not a hand gun, and is considerably smaller, plus this megatron could still function as the original did, with other's being able to use him.. instead of a Handgun, he'd be a giant gun turrett, that skywarp, starscream or even soundwave could use, just like the old concept.. and no mass shifting!! Not to mention how neatly a Gun turret ties into the concept behind Galvatron!! it's a freaking no Brainer!!!

they should have done that and made a Classics Deluxe Megatron like a Gun turret and look like the classic G-1 style..

I've seen a picture of gun turret transform into G1 Megatron before. I'm not sure if it's a concept art or CGI or custom toy. I have faint memory of it being made in Germany or by a German.

It was superb! If only i can find it again.

Hasbro has already stated a long time ago that they weren't going to do the Robot Masters line because:

A: the toys are an akward size & they don't fit into current price points (not quite deluxes, but too big for basics)

B: safety issues...too many easily breakable parts & sharp pointy pieces

C: most of everybody that wanted them in the western world back when this was a major issue had already imported them.

Probably not connected in the way the trailer connects with G1 Prime, but it should be easy enough to set it up for static display, and you could always use non permanent adhesive like blutack to make it a bit more stable.

Man that is one awesome kitbash, I love the alt-mode with all the big turests, and that pic with all them litle solders standing on it.

Oh and Don Figura made one good looking Megatron turet!

It looks about how you would think it looks, honestly. I've tried that with mine before. The only problem with the combo is that classics prime's truckbed is a bit higher up than the trailer is, so it really dosen't fit very well.

YOu know, speaking of trailers....wouldn't it be cool if they made a transforming car-carrier trailer for magnus, so we could have an updated G1-ish armored Magnus, instead of another white prime clone.
