I'll take a Masterpiece Fuzor Silverbolt and Dinobot in a heartbeat.

I will wait for better, more detailed pictures.

HA! Yeah. Not to sully the unveiling of Ironhide and Primal, but that was my firsth thought toomegatronus wrote:My first thought was: we may get MP Beast Wars Megatron before a correctly scaled MP G1 Megatron...

It looks like one of those inflatable gorillas on the roof of a dealership to sell used cars.

I'm shocked it's happening based on that same poll. This came in 6th behind Star Saber (released), Micron Legend Convoy, God Ginrai, Dai Atlas, and RiD 2001 Fire Convoy. Must be just due to the Beast Wars 20th anniversary, or maybe the sales of the reissue of the original toy in the Legends line were just off the chain.Starsaber468 wrote:So glad he wasn't the masterpiece fan's choice figure now :3 because I knew we would eventually get him but I never escpected this to happen this soon but i hope the masterpiece line will make masterpiece verisons of the japan continuation of g1
I'd be inclined to believe it's for the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars, myself, since there seems to be a recurring pattern of Takara making a Masterpiece of a good guy leader whenever they want to celebrate something big.ScottyP wrote:I'm shocked it's happening based on that same poll. It looks 100% accurate to theCG model. That's befitting of a Masterpiece if you ask me.Optimum Supreme wrote:People actually like that thing? It looks like garbage to me. In fairness it may just be a mockup, and the final product might be a lot better, but it looks like bad articulation and an incredibly low level of detail. I wouldn't pay deluxe prices for that thing, let alone masterpiece prices.

To be fair it's probably just a mock up to give folks an idea of what's coming.

What about this smaller one?Hellscream9999 wrote:As for how it looks, I have never owned the Optimus Primal figure (a regret, I know) but they never totally appealed to me, because no matter how much the robot mode head was altered, it never looked like the design in the show. The toy was "realistic" and the shows was... not, for lack of a better word.
