JK I am a tennis player. I play at the collegiate level right now. Signing up for some tournaments for the summer and fall to stay loose and ready for next season.
Burn wrote:There's still some good rock stuff out there, yeah it's changed over the last two decades (and is NOTHING like "rock n roll") but thanks to http://www.newrock933.com/ i've discovered stuff like Mudvayne, Distrubed, Drowning Pool and Skillet but i'm also into Godsmack, Daughtry, Theory of a Deadman, Switchfoot, Staind, Saliva, and tragically, Nickelback.
One thing i've noticed though, the older you get, the harder it is to like modern music.

Who and you, and what have you done with the {n00b} bot?The {Rage Bot} wrote:Man, the music today is horrible. It has become a cookie cutter platform for people who come up with crap. What happened to the talent. It seems anyone can become rich and famous haha. look at lady gaga, beyonce, britney spears, lets see them dancing at 80, as opposed to Les Paul who was still making music and playing live shows before he passed.
hip-hop=club music and people who want to place overly exaggerated speakers in their car because they think its cool to lose their hearing at a young age, and cause children to wear ridiculously large clothes that make them look like giant billboards advertising their brand names hahaha.
RAP=Retarded Attempt at Poetry. Originally it was an underground movement sticking it to the man. Nowadays its about people wanting to say "hey I have money, drugs, and I have been in the slammer give me more money"
Rock=has become...I can't think of anything anymore. The talent has just drifted with ups and its downs and its' constant down at the moment. What passes for radio play nowadays is a little saddening for those stations that promote "pop-rock" the bands do not even aim to make a statement for the better or say things that make people think anymore. Its more or less "what catchy rhythm can they produce to make as much money as possible."
LOL what happened to the good ol' days. Gone.
Personally I am a musician, and we are working very hard to bring the music back into "music". Well be making a statement soon enough and as soon as everything is up and running ill post the site for you guys and you can be the judge of it and tell us whether we suck or if were doing ok.

BP KNEW that the rig's piping system was at fault and the people on the rig knew this and advised to fix it. I guess BP wishes they would have gotten to it sooner NOW HUH? sheesh way to put things off!!!
