We finally have official images of Hasbro's upcoming Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Target Exclusive Abominus gift set! Just as the original solicitation indicated the set features no additional molding but does come in exclusive deco. Also of note, the packaging bears the phrase "Predacons Rising" in additional to the standard Beast Hunters logo. I'd like to see how this looks in-hand before comitting to it, but I like these molds and am a sucker for translucent plastic, so I'll probably pick this up. Not wild about how small the box makes it look, though.

I'm hoping I can actually find all the mass-retail versions (though given how my Target has only recently gotten Wave 1 started, my hopes aren't too high), but this is a fine alternative if that plan doesn't work out.
Surprised it isn't vastly different from the other version. Half-expected Hun-Grr to be more G1 and the others based on Shattered Glass/Technobots or Monstructor or something.

...But it looks terrible.
But the stock photos were badly transformed!
...But it still isn't all that great, even when transformed properly.
But at least it's being released as a whole set, to make them easier to get!

As separate figures, these are cool. They fail as a combiner though; just looks like something a fan came up with. And the fact that the gift set is essentially unchanged from the original releases is the icing on the cake.
Hasbro has wowed us lately with some of their 30th anniversary releases, I'm ready to be wowed by a really solid combiner!!!

abominus looks like crap but i like the terrorcons so ill probably pick this up to keep in the box depending on the price. A shame cause ob their own each figure is awesome but the combined mode is horrible, one day hasbro will figure out how to do combiners again.

Agreed. Not to mention it didn't have to be a combiner at all but just 5 separate Legion figures that happened to have similar names and appearances of Abominus's parts.
I'm really happy with these guys. They make for a great set of Legion figures and are also a pretty cool combiner (that even have weapons that can combine). I'll hopefully be able to get all the individual Legions as well as eventually get this set as well.
Honestly, I'm just happy to see more combiners. If for whatever reason (perhaps cost reasons) they can't make many combiners in larger scales it'd be great if they can make more in the Cyberverse scale, whether that's with Legions, Commanders and Legions or even all Commanders.
