Or maybe "Mayhem Maximus".
Yeah, I could have lived with them staying Mayhem Maximus. But other options...
How about "Tumultuous Maximus" or "Pandemonium"?
(I'm looking for "mayhem" synonyms online. Sadly, "Turmoil", "Fracas", and "Maelstrom" are already guys. So's "Ruination", but I think this would be the
perfect time to reuse that name if nobody's gonna give us a PROPER one. Other than the fact that the Wreckers themselves used it in the FoC toyline.)

I love it. I always loved Thunderwing and his gang.
I love that we finally get an update of a pretender's inner robot.
I've been hating the trend idw and hasbro stated of meshing the robot with the shell. The voyager Bludgeon with the skull head looked like the crap the Bay movies churned out like Drift or Que.
As for the variety in colours how come no one complains about Monstructor?

As far as Hasbro's concerned, they very probably feel that the Generations Deluxe toy of Thunderwing already counts as a Stormbringer version of him, what with his headsculpt being Stormbringer-based.
As for using the Cyclonus mold as a Thunderwing torso for this combiner, I don't want it as a representation of Stormbringer Thunderwing, I'd want it as a representation of what it's meant to homage: Marvel Thunderwing! The original master of awesomeness.

Except I love Marvel Thunderwing and all I see here is a bunch of combined Transformers wearing a Thunderwing helmet like when I wear my movie Optimus Prime voice changer helmet. Doesn't make me Optimus Prime (no matter how hard I try)
I see no Thunderwing here. Just cosplaying.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool!
Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

Actually, it is interesting, since the bruticus chestplate completely folds up, they could've deco'ed it so that it looks like thundertron; It certainly would've added to the effect

The titanium Seeker mold would be great for Windsweeper.
Marvel Thunderwing was a great villain. Stormbringer ruined him. I wish Idw would stop ruining my favourite characters: Thunderwing, Scorponok, Sunstreaker, Soundwave and Prowl.

Battle Gaia one year, and Guard city the next would've been amazing, and gotten me to join the club even if they were just repaints of bruticus and Protectobots respectively.
The draw here is the individual characters more than the combined mode. People are mostly buying these guys for the individuals. I don’t know how many people would pay $300 for those other guys. Sure there is demand for them, but only as a combination not as individuals.

The greatest argument for random drug testing I've seen so far. Seriously, WTH were they on when they came up up with THIS idea???
I'm a cigar chomping, Energon guzzling, crotchety old bot that's tough as nails, two days older than dirt, can out grouch Ironhide, out-complain Huffer, leave Bluestreak speechless with a single glare and make Grimlock back down in a stare-off. Perhaps as much to the point (at least for me), Guard City and Battle Gaia are too similar to the Defensor and Bruticus toys we're already getting. I'd prefer something that's more of a departure, given that we're already talking about mold reuse.

A Thunderwing homage for the Combiner form is rather strange, I was expecting something based on Bludgeon's Pretender shell (skull face and samurai helmet). This does look like a good set either way, but probably something I can live without. The only figure from this set I'd really like to have is Needlenose, because I like the character in John Barber's comics.

I have no regrets ordering these guys. They fill some very interesting holes in a Generations collection, even if Sabrblade has basically convinced me we should have had a Thunderwing torso...
