Come on with the preorder already BBTS.

One day, when these are all a set and somewhat discounted, they will be mine.

I think that's just an optical thing due to the tail feathers.

I was thinking the same thing. But, even if I erase the tail feathers from between his legs, he still seems to suffer the same thing as me: long torso.

Minus the ugly non-G-1 beast head, Like the rest of the beast mode sculpt.
Thought the wings being fully articulated and becoming swords for Divebomb was nice and clever.

This was also a good way to "stand out" from the other two not-Divebombs produced. As much as I think MMC's set is the better version, I'm starting to warm up to TFC's. Definitely the combined mode, but some of the individual bot modes as well.

I NEED this.
I love everything about it. The beast modes all look fantastic. The robot modes look much better and less blocky than the MMC versions. And that combined mode...He's spiky, he's detailed, he's menacing, he's just awesome.
I was considering MMC's offering, but seeing this, I'm going TFC. The MMC version has kinda lame beast modes that look like bricks on legs, and the robot modes looked a bit derpy too. The MMC combined mode looks OK, but I much prefer this version. I'm also glad they chose to break away from slavishly following the (kinda lame) G1 design and made it look great in its own right.
So yeah, another winner from TFC. Also, with the extra thumbs, when they're split apart you could probably have them crawling alongside the Predacons.

Yep, you pretty much summed up my every thought about these (and MMC's). I'm just waiting for my 2 TFC not-Divebombs to hit my PoL. I can't wait to have all 5 combined and all 5 in beast mode. It's gonna make for one epic display.

Also, I worked out one of the things I love about this; the colours. They're so much more saturated and bold than MMC's kinda washed out colours. Different strokes for different folks, but I really like the bright colours on Ares.

correct me if im wrong, but i dont think herc was ever released in a giftset (like quantron). sold in complete sets sure, but still seperately boxed. and since theyve been coming out one at a time anyways, i doubt it.Delta Magnus wrote:Any word of this getting a full set of 5 giftset release like with Hercules?

Ah, my mistake- I meant the complete bundles of all the figures separately boxed but available as part of 1 deal rather than an actual giftset.
(Also, good to hear Quantron is available all together- he looks pretty badass).
