Dangit, I struckoutitscramtastic wrote:SEVEN PAGES?! Not the WeiJang, the WuKong. carytheone wrote:I agree, but I mistransform him a bit so his hood sticks up from his back just a bit. That and the shoulder pauldrons do a pretty good job of giving that classic Prowl look.bodrock wrote:As cool as CW Prowl is to me, lack of door wings makes me sad.
Not sure if I have a pic handy.
EDIT: I do!
Not the best, but can supply more if you like!

Thanks bodrock! After picking up this book I've renewed my G1 collecting thoughts. I do have a bunch, but why not get more?! I haven't purchased any new-to-me G1 figures in a while, Megatron from the Chronicles set, 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime, Takara Collection Hot Rod, TRU Commemorative Rodimus Prime (those last two I had as a kid but couldn't find). Other than that, it has been since G2 Jazz and Bumblebee (both G1 redecos) back when they were new!!bodrock wrote:G1, baby! Those two look great, cram.
Ah, science. It's hard to pinpoint the cause! I don't think they were ever "exposed" to UV other than normal play, definitely not when they were in a bin in the attic! No smoke either. It's a mystery!carytheone wrote:Science!itscramtastic wrote:Or I guess there are reasons but I still don't comprehend them.
Those are a couple handsome lads you got there
It's the plastic composition. Just happens to either show more on white and light colors. Could have been that and a combo of heat if they were in the attic. My SNES discolored like a beast and it was in the attic.itscramtastic wrote:Ah, science. It's hard to pinpoint the cause! Yeah I remember reading it was the fire retardant chemical mixed in but I really thought it had to be exposed to sunlight to cause the reaction. I understood with my Alternators Meister, the placement of the shelf he was on had sunlight exposure at certain times of day. But those guys were in the attic for the most part! Crazy.carytheone wrote:It's the plastic composition. Just happens to either show more on white and light colors. Could have been that and a combo of heat if they were in the attic. Mine looked like the one on the left, it died actually.
