Did you end up getting the DLC for Mario Kart 8 with the Hyrule Circuit?

Me and my brother each bought one of the packs. I found it kinda neat how Hyrule Circuit replaced the coins with ruppees.itscramtastic wrote:I was mentioning to Cary how WWHD is my favorite LoZ (modern at least). Speaking of music, Music Park (or Melody Motorway in Europe and Australia) is one of my all time favorite race tracks in the series.

That'd be the one. I'm really glad I never got fully into the toys of Macross 'cause holy shirt I'd be broke. I find it weird that I didn't as I prefer jets over ground vehicles...![]()
Let it also be known that there are longer versions of that Headmasters theme and higher quality video of the animation, but it is hard to find ones with the lyrics/english translation.
Tell me about it. I have over 1200 bucks worth of Yamato, Arcadia, and Bandai Macross figures, all in storage because I'm terrified my kids could break one of them. Its only 7 figures.

Which game are you talking about? TMNT: The Arcade Game I assume? It really was a good port to the NES. Them 4-player arcade cabinets were the best. If only money grew on trees...itscramtastic wrote:Aww yeah Cobs!! I have so many memories of throwing money away at the arcade playing that with 3 friends (those 4 player units were awesome!!) and then playing through it so many times on the NES!! For 16-bit in the arcade dropping to 8-bit on the NES it was still awesome![]()
Couch co-op is the only form of multiplayer I like. I spent a ton of time with TMNT: Turtle in Time on the SNES. The banging soundtrack put it head and shoulders above the arcade version (of the same name). I still to this day will go listen to the entire thing on youtube, youtube I say... you saw this coming
Argh, so many good tracks, I had a hard time picking just one, so I went with Big Apple 3am, because it's the first level and it's a riff on the TMNT theme song. Win win!
Yeah, what this guy said. I'm probably a little more partial to the 16-bit era though. Just a little spiffier! But damn I love some hand drawn sprites from the 8 & 16-bit eras.Cobotron wrote:8-bit for life, y'all!
So where are we going meet to play some old NES/SNES/SMS/Genesis games? Seriously?

That is some awesome tunage. And couch co-op is still the way I like to play, although I do rally the troops and have an arcade day at least once a year. I have two arcades in the area that have a BUNCH of classic games ('80s/'90s) so we hit them up with a good chunk of change each.
8-bit to 16-bit is where all of the memories are. Rose colored glasses and such. Good times.

To the best of my knowledge there is one one independent game store left in our area (curse you gamestop) and their inconvenient mall location has a sad arcade it it. Outside of that I can't thnk of any arcades in the area.
See a need, fill a need and grow some bawls.

A classic stuff store would be cool. My old comic shop had a few arcade games, one was a 4 player X-Men Arcade Game cabinet. Ballin'.
