I've actually heard Va'als voice so I know what he sounds like. I imagine Cary sounding like one of those guys form NCIS New Orleans, Burn sounding a bit like Steve Irwin (RIP buddy), and Cobotron having something close to a cowboys voice  those are the 3 that come to mind the most thinking of accents
Well you know what I sound like now and it's definitely not a N.O. accent. As much as I try it's hard to suppress that southern draw.

Burn was on the twincast recently and Cobo, well. That's a mystery ;)

I'll have to make sure to meet up with him at a convention some time. Can't go without ever meeting some of my Seibertron guys in the flesh :D

D. You're from eastern Penn., right? One of my new buddies here in Omaha is from Pittsburgh, but spent early childhood in West Virginia. He has almost the same accent you have. Don't worry, your accent is subtle, but it's there. Of course my buddy is a high tenor compared to your sweet baritone. It's a bass player thing. ;)

We all have little accents. Wait till you hear Cary's smooth drawl. I range from a sober non-accent to ruff 'n rowdy Midwestern drunken twang. Which is really rare, except according to Burn who thinks I'm plastered all the time.
Cram doesn't really have much of an accent. Burn sounds like a pirate. And Will sounds like snooty french poodle. Oh, and Va'al sounds like an Italian kidnapped by the British Navy. :-P

Would love to here Kurona's. Scottish accents are my favorite!

Diversity is the spice of life!

Anyway, those Pretenders are teh dope! Oozing with awesome G1 goodness. Totes jeliouso on those toys.
I so wanna cram a Microman in those shell-cars.

Sweet baritone  I'm actually only about an hour and a half from Pittsburgh, but one of my friends is from Pittsburgh. She's pretty awesome.

This paragraph may be the best paragraph ever written in this thread! "rowdy midwestern twang" "Pirate Burn" "snooty french poodle (actually kinda saw that one coming)" and Va'al

I am particularly fond of the British, Scottish, and Australian accents myself. They just sing to my ears.

They are really fun. Despite the limited moving parts of a G1 figure, they are so much fun because of what they do! I really have started to dig these pretenders a lot.

Burn is even being an awesome guy and sending me another pair of pretenders! One complete, one incomplete, and a gun for Gunrunner so he will be complete! I'm stoked!

I need a microman so I can make those dreams of your come true. Also need to slip Rewind into Gunrunner's cockpit, He'll fit I think.

The voice was not what I expected, but I tend to read most posts in a generic midtone. The accent is
distinct compared to some around here, I don't think I have one but what do I know. If you want to hear Cobo the Western cowboy or Will the French Canadian Poodlegoose look no further than Twincast 2016 year in review. ;) Burn is also there but he's also in most of the ToyFair podcast.

I'm not a fan of the modern pretenders idea but it might be able to work.

As soon as I saw you were getting into Pretenders I knew I had to get him to you.

It's Skullgrin.

Everyone loves Skullgrin. He probably has the best Pretender shell of them all. (Though all the "monster" 'Con Pretender shells are pretty cool)

Yes. I should have been more specific. The Aussie breed is the fiercest of all pirates. Especially the jazz musician Australian pirates.

I thought the jazz musician pirates were Louisianan in nature? tend to use small red smirking loud mouthed individuals made of plastic as their parrots?

Just popping in real quick to add my two cents to the accent pile. I guess I have an American accent, but it isn't very pronounced. However, when I'm reading I tend to slip into a British accent for some reason.

the few times I got drunk, I mainly switched to a "Stitch" voice from Lilo and Stitch.

I also apparently decided to try British, Australian, Italian, German, Country/Western, and French. Those were far less successful
