Congrats. I remember I joined the club after the first 2 came out and had to ebay those two. The only thing about that combiner that annoys me are those damn feet that never want to stay on.

Thank you!

I did a little rearranging, Landquake and Skyfall are now the legs, and he looks and stands better now

This topic just reminded me I still have that WALMART exclusive Devastator version of those combiner molds still to open.

I put together a combiner made of components from all 3 Energon combiners, forming Energon Maximus, back at TFcon, my first foray into energon.

But now that I have Nexus, and he is basically Energon Maximus with the other plane mold in place of a crane, I am contemplating actually putting together the 3 standard combiners....

Also, a picture of my Nexus Prime:

Soundwave Superior.

Everything else Inferior.

This is an awesome figure, I am so glad I waited 9 years for him, it was worth it. This is a great beefy bot with some great silver paint

That my friend is actually Beast Wars II Gigastorm, a Japanese exclusive retool of Trypticon for their Beast Wars II line. In the TV series, he was the younger brother to the main Predacon, Galvatron, and was prominent in the series originally as a G2 green tank Megatron with :PREDACON: symbols before getting upgraded to this form.

And I just got to Soundwave, but I do adore him

Thanks! I won a pair of cheap auctions late last week, and he is the first of 2 to arrive, the other later this week with its own story for my collection.

Gigastorm though has a unique paint scheme for the BWII franchise, and he is usually around $100 on ebay, he's not hard to get but can be very pricey. I got him for less than half that in auction, surprised I was the only bidder too/

Plus it's cool to have a G1 Trypticon mold now essentially

It feels weird to have a G1 mold in the Beast Wars line, especially a city former. It feels even weirder to have him in BWII. But I think he is cool, and he goes pretty well with his brother and his Daddy (sort of). I love the paint work on him, I think that is the best part.

It also feels weird because I have the complete show cast from Beast Wars and Beast Wars Neo, but I only have 3 Maximals and now 2 Predacons from Beast Wars II. That is a line that is going to prove difficult to finish once I focus back in on it.

Got the other cheap Ebay auction in the mail: Defender Optimus Prime!

My sister had and still has this mold, but this is my first time actually owning it. I do enjoy it even if it isn't very accurate. I also have enjoyed getting all these movie Primes with different strange decos.

And on a personal collectors note, with this mold, there are now only 3 movie Prime molds deluxe sized or larger that I do not own. And it has become a goal to finish grabbing all of the movie Prime molds, preferably in many decos for the fun of the Prime Rainbow. He is my favorite Prime and he deserves it.

Maybe at some point I will go for the legends sized ones too, but at a later date.

Gotta say, a lot of people were wrong about Stinger. I am still really loving him, i really enjoy him and am super glad I got him eventually

Good news to come out of tonight: I think Bri and I have found a new apartment! we will be applying tomorrow for it, so hopefully in the next month and a half the Den will have a whole new place, complete with a personal room for the bots!

This was brought up in another thread last month, but I am here to say it now: the new SS Bumblebee is the best Deluxe Bumblebee figure we have gotten.

I love this toy. He is really solid, accurate, fun, and spot on. He is so much fun to pose around and to play with, and the aesthetic is wonderful. This to me is the best of the best deluxe Bumblebees

Well, excellent news: tonight, we have secured the apartment!! In about 5 weeks, everything will be moving to a place with 50% more floor space, a room for the robots, and a wonderful place for me, the soon-to-be-wifey, and our little goldendoodle son.

Super excited to move in, I'm looking forward to this next chapter.

On another note, I got a new TF from a Twitter tf fan today, Laser Prime!

WWII Hot Rod and Bumblebee continue to be a wonderful pair. They are ok apart, but really good together. I love them both together so much!

EVAH? Or just in the SS line? Last I heard the best deluxe Bee ever was the new Cyberverse version.

Back to the new SS Bee, I just saw what they did with a window on the leg. After handling car Dropkick I've found that they are doing some clever stuff with using alt mode bits as parts of the bot. That Bee looks pretty svelte, how's the backpack scenario?

Thanks! I really liked that shot of the warriors.

SS Bee > Cyberverse Bee, he isn't quite as articulated, but he's equally as posable and very attractive. The backpack is basically part of his hood on his back, it isn't that bad at all.

I think he and Dropkick are 2 of the best car-formers that have come out in a while.

Also got Laser Prime recently, he's purty.

And the SS Arcee sisters are pretty alright. they are a bit shite, but I am super happy they exist, and in a good size too. 3 Legions were a great choice

I have been appreciating this figure though. The original 2007 voyager mold in his RotF Defender colors. I'm starting to think that instead of Nemesis Prime repaints, we need more Nightwatch/Defender repaints, I love those colors schemes

I think it's high time we acknowledge that this toy is actually pretty dang cool and fun. i got him out today for work at random, and he just feels and looks good. I missed playing around with him, and feel like he isn't appreciated enough. I did like this design, and I hope SS goes after it to give it another go
