The majority of the confusion will be going on in my head. I have a hard time keeping things seperate. Things tend to start running together. lol.

Torchwood airs on BBC America Saturdays night at 9pm with an "encore" showing of the previous week's episode right before it at 8. Doctor Who, Series 2 is at 7pm on BBC America's Supernatural Saturday. Which strangle ends up as Comedy Saturday with Graham Norton. oh well. lol

Just with the figs alone it looks like you snagged the Doctor Who Series Three 10 Figure Set.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Being a Brit I was able to get every figure locally!
The Doctor Who line is a rare thing in that new stuff gets released here first which is a welcome change from having to buy imports with expensive shipping fees.
I just got the Tardis today and it's amazing. It has approx 10 motion activated FX,illuminated windows, the flashing light on the top, opening doors, and even the flap that opens to reveal the telephone. For £15 (approx $30) it's very good value for money and I'm probably going to get a second one so I can use it with the Classic figures that are set for release next year. I'll post some pics of the rest of my collection soon.

Same here. Tennant is doing fantastic in the role. I wouldn't mind seeing him for another few years. Hell, he could catch up with Tom Baker's tenure as far as I'm concerned, so long as the story-writing is top-notch.

Agreed. Though, of course, as a newcomer to the series(I'm an American, so it took a marathon on Sci Fi channel of season 2 in July just before season 3 started running there to get me into it); I'm pretty damned biased. Either way, I love Tennant as the Doctor; and hope that he stays on for a long time.

Also, am I the only one who thought that "Blink" was a brilliant episode? Since I'm watching it on Sci Fi, I'm still going through season 3(should be nearing the end of it, though), and that was last week's episode. That episode was **** amazing; probably the best episode I've seen so far. The idea of those weeping angels was great(not to mention freaky); loved the whole "they're the only creatures to kill you nicely" bit.

You most certainly are definitely not the only one who loved that episode. One of the best of all time.

The main problem I have with Blink is that the Doctor is barely in it. Having him appear almost as an afterthought makes it seem like the story wasn't originally written for the series and the writer just reworked his original idea when he got the Doctor Who gig.

Actually that's pretty much correct.

"Blink" is based on "What I did on my Christmas Holidays by Sally Sparrow", written by Stephen Moffat and published in the 2006 DW Annual.

The story in full

As for the lack of Doctor, some of the best episodes in the new series have been with him being in it very little. :P

I wasn't aware of that Burn,so thanks for the info :)
I'm not saying that the Doctor should be in every scene of every episode but after the dire Family Of Blood/Human Nature story I was hoping for a more "regular" episode so when the Doctor failed to show up during the opening of Blink I just switched off. Maybe I'll give it another go and enjoy it more second time round but I think the "Doctor-lite" episodes often feel like a whole different show.

Blink was a brilliant ep. My fav of series 3. It actually got my pulse going, something not many shows do. And the fact that such scary villians were made from stone statues that never moved, genius. It not only saved on hiring actors for the villains, but it worked so beautifully.

Thanks to the cable company "upgrading" to digital crap, cables been spotty since last Thursday. Channels seem to come in then go back to Time Warner message bluescreen. Drove by the place and it looks like a construction site.

And now judging by the sound of it, I really missed a good episode. I'm hoping for repeats soon.

I was never really intrested in the old shows as I was more of a Star Wars fan at the time and have only got into Doctor Who seriously since the show's revival in 2005. I've since bought several Tom Baker stories and a couple of Peter Davison ones on DVD and have found all of them to be far superior to any of the new shows, maybe not visually but the characterisation, dialogue and storylines certainly are.
That said the new series has had quite a few good episodes, most of the multi part stories in particular have been great and I think that Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant have been fantastic Doctors. I do feel that series 3 was the worst of the new ones though with very few episodes being worth a second viewing and I think that it's time Russell T Davies was replaced before he makes any more retarded decisions such as bringing in Catherine f'ing Tate as the new full time assistant,a move which in my opinion cancels out much of the good he has done with the shows revival.

Anyhoo, Revelation and Remeberance of the Daleks arrived today. Figured it was time to start collecting some of the older series and i'm going to concentrate on the Dalek stories first.

Best advice is to look for a list (someone else might have a link to it) of what episodes have been released (I don't think they're doing them in any particular order) and check to see if that story has been released and then dig deep across the net.

I got Remeberance and Revelation off E-Bay because I found a seller with them + the WWE Ladder Match boxset all for under the normal retail cost.

Rex,the following 3rd Doctor stories have been released on DVD,

Spearhead From Space
Inferno
The Claws Of Axos
The Three Doctors
Carnival Of Monsters
The Green Death
(The above are available as an Amazon UK Exclusive boxset. I think you can get most of them seperately as well)

The Time Warrior was also released recently. Depending where you live you may need a multi region DVD player as these are all region 2. I'm not sure if they are all the stories you are after but I hope the info helps.
