Next week... Sontarans!!!!

Otherwise it was a pretty good episode, though once again we have the offsider's family getting screen time again. It would be nice for this new series to have an outsider that is constantly calling or popping home to their family.

Revealing that the Doctor has a child IMO takes away some of the characters mysterious quality in the same way that Attack Of The Clones did for Boba Fett and will mean we get a load of cheesy "Daddy to the rescue" (or vice versa) storylines which frankly the series can do without.

You know he kind of HAD to have a kid before Susan, right? It's not exactly a surprise that he'd have one.
Though I will say I'm kinda afraid to see how they handle the episode; it could be pretty bad, but I'm gonna reserve judgement till it actually airs(or, at least, till we see the previews). Also, I'm beginning to wonder if all of Gallifrey isn't still alive.

Aside from it being RTD "updating" things.

Aside from it being RTD "updating" things.
The UN didn't want to be associated with UNIT anymore; hence Unified Intelligence Taskforce.

I suppose the Doctor will turn up for the first 5 minutes of part 1 only to disappear until the end of part 2 and we'll have to pretend it's a Doctor Who story for the rest of the time

Blink? Utter bollocks?
No. I can't respond. Anything I want to say will only get me banned.
