I came here searching for discussions on Transformers. What a source of information related to epic Transformers. I am a fan from Switzerland. Looking for places to buy toys in Switzerland. Found one related to Transformers, surprisingly known as Xmen
Teknomage wrote:Teknomage here, 38 year old IT Director from Texas. I've been in to Transformers since the show came to TV here in the US in the 80s. Unfortunately I got rid of my G1 collections when we had to downsize after having our first daughter in the mid 90s. I'm into pretty much every line except for the Michael Bay movie ones.

My name is Rich, just joined the forum today whilst looking for some TF info and also trying to source a particular model.
Turning the big 4-0 next year, and I think I must be going through some kind of mid-life crisis already, because since finding out about the Takara Masterpiece line I've been collecting them obsessively (almost fanatically!), presumably trying to cling on to my childhood nostalgia!

What is it with people sucking up to Va'al? All he does around here is post News, so it's not like he actually does anything.

I'm Alex. I'm 24 years old and live in Arizona. I grew up on Beast Wars, Robots in Disguise, Armada, and Energon. I recently decided to try to sell a good portion of my figure collection. This website was name-dropped on Reddit, so I figured I'd give it a go.

Are you still into collecting figures, or the fiction at all? Or are you just going to try to use the rather bountiful resources we have here? I'm sure there are people here that are very interested in getting a piece of your collection.
Hope to at least see you 'round the boards though, while you're here

I'm still very much into the fiction and video games! I also have G1 and some of the more-talked-about recent generations on my watch list. I'm just trying to reduce the size of my physical collection, haha.
But yeah, I'll definitely check some of the boards out when I can make time.![]()

Then came Transformers Animated which was the first show that had me thinking, "Woah, the good guys are cool and all but those Decepticons... and that Starscream guy...", I found myself rooting for the Decepticons every now and then.

I came across this website when I was looking for scans of #12 of All Hail Megatron to check out the whole situation with Thundercracker, one of my favorite Transformers.
Then I saw the Heavy Metal War concept and thought it'd be pretty cool to try it out.

Ok, how I got into Transformers. I actually started out playing with my dad's old G1 figures (and breaking some unfortunately). My first real experiences however, were the 2007 movie and Animated, both the toys and the visual media. I've grown to be a big fan of Generations over the years, too.
