Okay, I like the Headmaster.
He's weird and funny.
for some reason, everyone thinks the villains in Animated need to be serious.
there's a reason we put them in, for lulz.
How would you feel if these human villains were menacing and kids liked them so much more than decepticons, the decepticons were taken out of the show.
no, these human villains are just supposed to be funny.
Meltdown is sorta serious cause he has a threatening power, mutants and kidnapped a little girl.
I mean, the human villains in G1 weren't that great, I've never seen anyone complain. why? people understand that these guys were just funny.
Lord Chumley - really annoying fake British accent hunter. but he's for lulz
(fan reaction guessing)haha, and I don't care that he almost captured Optimus Prime, he's supposed to be weird and funny
Angry Archer - really anoying really fake British accent petty crook. obviously for lulz.
fan reaction - ZOMG he jumped out of Prime's hand. why are the transformers so weak! arghh so ghey!!! blahblahblah!! I cant believe he's supposed to be a villain, he looks like a joke! ZOMG NOOBIES
:|
rant over

Anyways...
Prime with the G1 trailer was cool
But I was thinking... wouldn't that have been a better color scheme for voyager prime's axe?
blue and silver... like his axe in the show

Did anyone notice Bumblebee's pose was the one from Airplane? it was pretty accurate.
except a stinger instead of a gun.
But there was even a green jeep in the background!
double reference!!! airplane! and Hound

wholeheartedly agreed!! This ep was HORRID! Headmaster has now won the Pyro Award for Craptastic Human Villiany in TF:A! He beat out Meltdown (old first-place holder) and Nanosec! Headmaster's EMO!!! There can't be much else worse!

You know, I watched this ep and was kinda disapointed, I loved the parts with Sumdac and Bulkhead, but the Headmaster not only looks horid but get really annoying real fast, I mean his internet slang was amusing at the beginning but the whole time?
Still I liked his head's robotmode.
Have you noticed that the robot he tested his headmaster unit on looked kinda like G1 Scorpinock? Kinda fitting if you take into account that his headmaster design kinda resembles Scorpinaok's head in the G1 toon.

After he lost, I'm sure he went home and cried. The world hates him and this time, he'd be right.

Like most people I thought the Headmaster was going to be a Lex Luther businessman kind of villian. But he was a young gamer type who reminded me of Jack Spiccer (sp?) from Xiolin Showdown. His gamer talk was funny at first but he "Total Ownage" like every scene he was in. But since we know he's coming back and this is still a kids show, guess I can't get too bothered by him.

This episode was a filler before things pick up for the season finale I guess. Oh and Megatron rising pt 1 & 2 come after next weeks episode "Nature's Call".

I was really hoping since "Lost and Found" we'd get more Decepticons, especially after Starscreams ultimatum but I can wait.

I never thought Headmasters computer game slang was funny.

Here's how he could have been worse though...

1. His "Headmaster Unit" could have been non-transforming.

2. He could of had absolutly no weapons on the headmaster unit and relied on switching bodies constantly.

3. He could of been playing WOW (World of Warcraft) at some point in the episode.

4. He could of been wearing all black and talked like a depressed teenager to match his EMO hair styal.

5. He could have been played by Toby Mcquire as "Evil Spider-man" and did a dance strut down the street for no reason.

No, it's because human villains in the G1 cartoon were few and far between as opposed to Animated where there's a human villain every 3 out of 4 episodes. (Or there abouts)

1 - Well that happened in such a short time it may as well have been non-transforming!

2 - Why does he need to take over a robot's body then if the Headmaster unit it's self is armed enough to take down a giant robot to steal it's head to begin with?

3 - No show can pull off WoW references any more, not after South Park got done with it. :P

4 - Would have made more sense instead of trying to blend the current trends (gamer/emo) into one.

5 - Frankly, it would have made me laugh, and therefore it probably would have done the episode some good. :P

1. The same could be said of the Dinobots and they've had TWO episodes.

2. Because the Headmaster Unit is too small to really be that much of a thret by itself. Notice he had to sneak up on Bulkhead to take him out rather than haveing a direct conflict.

3. I saw that South Park episode, they used footage from the real game for it. Simpsons allso did a WOW type game spoof but it wasn't a real game, just the Simpsons characters in a WOW type enviorment.

4. Would have made him worse though. The only thing EMO about him was the hair so that alone doesn't bother me.

5. If there was any refrence to Spider-man 3 in Transformers I think I'd stop watching the series all togeather. That was a gawd awfull movie.

Well, this is from the same VA who voiced that idiot Control Freak in Teen Titans - not to mention the same writers.

Personally, I think it's rather sad that Meltdown has become the most convincing and appropriatelu dangerous human villian for the Autobots, and that's not really saying much. I'm ready for a full-on invasion by the Decepticons - and yes, Megatron getting a new body (but not becoming "Galvatron").

The Decepticon invasion is suppose to happen in "Megatron Rising pt 1" so it's not too far off.

Yeah so? It got the job done.

The problem was he was an idiot who believed in massive amounts of carnage.

He could easily demonstrate the stealth aspect of the suit to the military. I'm sure they'd be more interested in a small suit that could take down a large robot without direct confrontation as opposed to a suit that takes over another robot to achieve victory.

Wow, I'm surprised people didn't like this episode! I found it hilarious. The Headmaster being lame was kind of the point. If they were going to make him use annoying internet slang, I think they should've given him a slightly more expansive geek vocabulary than "Total ownage," but on the other hand, that does just make him that much more lame. Besides, we don't need to go out of our way to teach leetspeak to our kids. As per usual, we have great kid-level character work with Bulkhead's low self-esteem.

My impression has always been that we'll focus more on the Decepticons later in the series. Early in the series, it makes sense that they'd face human villains and establish themselves as heroes on Earth, while the rest of Cybertron searches for them and Megatron seeks a new body. Once both those things happen, we'll start seeing some threats on a grander scale. In terms of a larger narrative it makes sense to put the Autobots up against the Emobot at this point in time. To them, it'll seem like the good ol' days once Megs comes around.

Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
Pwned. N00b. Etc...

He was literally the most irritating and ignorant villain they've had so far.

The Angry Archer? Finally captured, but adept at getting the job done and his crimes made sense. He just wanted the money.

Nanosec? Again, not a great villain, in fact the premise for him was ridiculous. However, the writers saved it with that whole growing old from the rate of acceleration thing. Smart, very smart.

Princess (whatever, the Soundwave episode)? was irritating, obnoxious and just plain horrible. Like any spoiled kid would be. Irritating, yes, but actually fits.

Meltdown? A true scientist who was corrupted by greed and prestige. His body horribly and irreparably changed and damaged and malformed into a walking glob of acid. A villain with a real reason for a grudge. A real threat that could kill human and Autobot alike.

The HeadMaster? Absolutely pointless. Absolutely stupid. He was 1337 and wouldn't shut up, plus his plan was ridiculous and outlandish. Oh sure, he got the drop on Bulkhead because he's a giant oaf. Could The HeadMaster pull that on another 'Bot? I don't think so. He's quite limited in his "abilities".

All of the human villains are pathetic in my book, but at least Meltdown has legitimate reasons to be the monster he is. Even if they're not right morally, they're still credible and legitimate.

Bah. I dunno. It's just getting worse. By the end of the series, we should see Prime and Megatron holding hands, dancing around singing "Ring A Round the Rosey" with a cheerful the end tacked onto the episode.

...so many places they could've gone...but they wasted it. WASTED IT!

Apparently folks around here have never watched Teen Titans. This series is following in the same exact veign. And that is a good thing. Slade only showed up in limited bits during most of the first season only to completely destroy any lightheartedness of the entire first season with the last couple episodes of it. I have this feeling that it will be the same way with Transformers. Filler episodes with the main bad guy working in the background. Finally he decides it is time to get his own hands dirty and enter the fray.

People need to stop thinking this show was made for them. It wasn't. There are little tidbits thrown in to make you do a double take, but the series itself is centered on a much younger demographic than us. If something seems childish, it is, because that is who it's directed at.

And frankly, I loved Control Freak, and I love Headmaster. OWNAGE!

Childish I can deal with. That would explain some of the problems with the show. However, The HeadMaster isn't even cool enough to be considered childish. He's still pointless and absolutely stupid.

Which is why I love the character. Control Freak spouted off lines from old sci-fi movies and acted like a complete dork. Headmaster is practically the same character but instead of loves spouting 1337 speak.

I agree with Muffin. headmaster is supposed to be lame. And I find his quotes crack me up every time. And again this show is aimed at much younger kids, with just a few G1 nods thrown in to keep us older guys interested.

I'm gonna be getting the Leader Class Bulkhead with the Headmaster figure only for the quotes. "Ownage... Total Owange". Its hilarious.

People just don't seem to get this is not G1 or A/E/C. These autobots aren't war machines, they would not stand a chance against a full attack of all the decepticons, which is why we get them in dosages.

Now with Megatron finally getting a body, and the Elite guard, we can have more Decepticon episodes.

Edited for content. Apologies to those affected.

Sorry for the rant, but I just had to vent.

It’s not really a fair conversation if I cant point out what I feel is wrong with the show. And I know I complain a lot, but I did say much good if I recall correctly about the episode with Lugnut in it.

How come whenever I’m trying to have a conversation about movie Swindle someone’s there to tell me why it’s a crappy figure? I’m sorry, but I feel like there is a bit of a double standard here. I get sick and tired of people making silly reasons as to why it’s a good show. The point is, if you think my opinion is that irritating then don’t read what I have to say.

Much younger demographic? How much younger than a thirteen year old? I don’t like going around and preaching this, but I my self am only thirteen and yet I still don’t enjoy this show for the most part.

I don't know if you've realised this or not but this is a PUBLIC FORUM.

Meaning people are allowed to post whatever they want provided it's within the rules of the forum.

Did you ever stop to consider that maybe people are sick of hearing others go on each and every week about how great the show is?

People ARE entitled to their opinion and they ARE entitled to voice it. Just because YOU don't like it and are sick of hearing it doesn't mean they should stop. Positive and negative comments are what make discussion forums. A one sided discussion would get boring VERY fast.

Well, how about this then. If someone is rambling on how great the show is, they gotta say at least one thing they didn't like about it. And if someone is rambling on how much the show stinks, they gotta say at least one thng they did like about it. And if neither can thionk of anything, the other side could make some small suggestions.

Would that satisfy the likers and the haters who are tired of hearing the other side's views?

Stop trying to impose conditions on what a person posts! If a person likes it, let them post. If a person hates it. Let them post!

People just need to learn to respect the opinions of others, not force them into posting what they deem is acceptable.

Sorry about that. You know I don't usually impose my opinions on others, I just try to show the good points of the show. So i got a little carried a way. In the immortal words of Bulkhead: "My bad"

Sorry.

And as for a younger demographic. I believe they are aiming at about 6 to 10 year olds.

11 to 13. was A/E/C and R.I.D.

Ohh and: Headmasters way of connecting to Bulkhead reminded me of another Giant robot. Mazinger Z/Tranzor Z. When the head sprouts rockets and lands on Bulkhead's head, it reminded me a lot of the Jetpilder (the upgraded Hoverpilder) from Mazinger.

I actually liked Headmaster, the way I see it is that the Headmaster unit is a part of him, like Zarak. It makes him seem cooler, and his phrases were funny if a little over used. I don't think I've seen any villians, even video game villians, use popular gamer speech yet like him. Anyone else think he looked like Galatacus? At least he has something transformers about him, Meltdown is just a generic rip off.

It's funny that the speech he used is already old and becoming less used. :-?

Fanzone looked weird that episode also. :|
