Not really. He got along just fine before RID came along and started the trend of Optimus having a super mode.

Well, yeah. But Beast Machines came after Beast Wars, so BW really relevant to this.

And yes, Canada, which is why I said NA instead of just America.

I don't really demand Bumblebee to speak in Prime, even though it seems likely as there's going to be a two-parter about how he lost his voice, but rather have him communicate better. For me, it would be enough if he could speak but his vocoder might give up any moment and the rest is static or the same BLEE-BLOP-BEE he has been doing for the first season. He did so in Exiles, so all it needs is Ratchet to fix Bumblebee's vocoder little by little.

He does alot of voice work, the black ranger, Ichigo, he was in Naruto, guy even has a band. He's all over the place.

Vash in Trigun was his breakout role, at least the one that got him into dubbing anime.

Forgot about Vash! :D

Something that would be glorious for them to do with Bumblebee's flashback episode would be if they used his WFC body design for the animation model of the guy during his flashback moments. But, to be realistic, it's not something I'm expecting them to do. I was fine with them not sticking exactly true to the WFC designs of Optimus and Megatron during their flashback in the season 1 finale because the designs we saw were instead hand-drawn still images and blurred a bit to give them an aged look. But I don't expect the same to be done for Bumblebee since his flashback would require something more like Arcee's flashbacks in episode 12: Fully animation sequences of action and movement. At this point, all I ask is that Bumblebee's flashback doesn't contradict the "Bumblebee at Tygar Pax" story.

Man, I really hope they decide holding off removing season 2 vids of prime from youtube until AFTER the season ends/the DVD is close to released, otherwise I'll have to wait months to actually watch the show.

The episodes usually hit YouTube a few hours after they air on TV. They are not immediately removed upon uploading. One just has to be quick to catch them before the uploader takes them down. FanofTransformers/FanTransformers/FTransformers/whatever-he-calls-himself usually uploads them as soon as possible and then takes them down a few days later to avoid getting into too much trouble with Hasbro.

Could even be someone *at* Hasbro, even authorized by Hasbro. Possible, but doubtful.

FAKE.

IMDB ain't trustworthy.

Besides, Sentinel Prime is dead, and the Seekers are no longer around.

And there's a LOAD of unconfirmed voice actors listed there: Laura Bailey, Kevin Conroy, Vic Mignogna, Leonard Nimoy, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, James Remar (as Sideswipe), Rick D. Wasserman, Travis Willingham. To whomever wrote that, in your dreams, maybe.

*Facepalm*. I would not have a continuity objection to Starscream grabbing a new bunch of bots and calling them Seekers, but Sentinel Prime's death is definitely a problem to this storyline.

Yep. If it's on IMDB and it hasn't personally been confirmed by the producers, or the episode or movie hasn't been released, it's fake.

Yeah, really, really good casts are a red flag. If they couldn't afford to keep The Rock for more than five minutes, what makes you think they'd be able to afford that?

Also - the day that Vic Mignogna EVER joins the Transformers universe, is the day I stop being a fan. Laura Bailey and Travis Willingham are pretty big in the anime industry, so I pray to god that they don't get casted in Prime either. But seriously, the only ones I can see being in Prime is Nimoy; but that's only if he revives his role as Galvatron.

If you don't want anime voice actors in Transformers, then you probably don't want to know Steve Blum is Starscream.

First off, Vic Mignogna and Steve Blum are personal friends. Not sure if you knew that. They both did the "Real Fans of Genius" shorts (Parodies of those Budweiser Real Mean of Genius ads, but about anime fans and convention goers. They are hilarious)

Second, Vic Mignogna is made of awesome, and every series he touches becomes more awesome. Case in point, the Funimation salvaging of One Piece.

No, you're right. Not wanting anime voice actors in Transformers is kind of silly, especially since so many of them have been in Transformers at this point. Also Travis Willingham was Sideswipe in WfC.

EDIT: Also, calling them "anime voice actors" is kind of silly seeing as they've been in plenty of non-anime roles. (Laura Baily voiced a number of characters in Fallout: New Vegas, for instance)

I believe Sentinel and Zeta are the same individual in the Aligned continuity, and that character is dead. So, sadly, brain explosion is probably going to happen.

I could deal with Sentinel and Zeta being two different characters, but making them the same character hurts my brain.

I think I have a way to reconcile the irreconcilable differences between WfC and Exodus. Think of them like G1 continuity: Two different continuities that can't possibly fit together and yet no one's complaining. Basically, the best way to deal with the differences between the two halves of early Aligned is to simply accept them as two difference continuities in the same basic continuity.

That actually made my brain hurt more...

Sounds like your summing up Animated...
anyhow, how is sentinel prime dead in this continuety?
I Hope it's not the whole Sentinel/Zeta thing again, lest you make my brain explode....

Okay, okay, guys, here's the thing. His name is Zeta, but "Sentinel" is a title of his. He is formally "Sentinel Zeta Prime". I wrote this a while back in a talk with Sto:
Sabrblade wrote:The Trasformers Vault book went on to add to this even further, saying that the "Sentinel" part is also a title itself, i.e. "sentinel, Zeta Prime". Exodus doesn't quite contradict this notion either, as the way the words "Sentinel Prime" are spoken could be used to refer to him by his two titles, as many people tend to shorten the name of whoever bears the Prime rank to just "Prime". Sure, it's another retcon, but hey, canon is canon. ;)

The escalating violence brought about by insurgents resulted in the disappearance of the Cybertronian leader and sentinel, Zeta Prime.

The way I see it now, referring to Zeta Prime as "Sentinel Zeta Prime" or "Sentinel Prime" could be like referring to Optimus Prime as "Commander Optimus Prime" or "Commander Prime". Maybe Zeta was so formal a guy that he distinctly had everyone in Exodus call him by his title and rank and never his first name. Whereas he'd be more lax in WFC, since everyone called him "Zeta" there. ;)

Also, in the War for Cybertron comic, it talks of Sentinel Prime and shows what he looks like, using the exact same game design (color scheme and all) of WFC Zeta Prime, reinforcing the singular identity of the two.
