Before I respond to the all the following, I will say that, in regards to Galaxy Force, since everyone has a new name, they can all be seen as new characters from those in Micron Densetsu/Super Link, while still existing in the same world. Meaning that the likes of Exillion and Guardshell do not have to be the same people as SL Hot Shot and SL Landmine, like their are in the U.S. continuity. However, the world of MD/SL and GF can still be the same.BeastProwl wrote:Well that's all fine on it's own, but the differences and holes in the story speak for themselves.
Unicron's power preserved/revived him after his apparent "death" in Armada.BeastProwl wrote:Sideways just Magically returns,
Ironhide served aboard the Autobot flagship Iron Hope, as a member of Ultra Magnus' bridge crew, which left Planet Cybertron during the black hole crisis.BeastProwl wrote:Ironhide and kicker just dissapear (They re-appear in the last episode of the english version along with quite a few key characters and minicons IIRC)
Coming back isn't an issue. But being gone during Energon is. As for the accent, he weren't the only one. So what?BeastProwl wrote:First aid/Red alert comes back (Finally) And has an accent (What, did he get sent off to investigate australia?)
Unicron Singularity (the black hole) distorted reality enough to slag up everyone's memories.BeastProwl wrote:Everyone forgets how to powerlink,
Like Ironhide, both also served as crewmen on the Iron Hope.BeastProwl wrote:rodimus and prowl go bye-bye,
A new body can come with a new voice.BeastProwl wrote:landmine shrinks and changes his voice too,
No, he lived.BeastProwl wrote:Bulkhead/Springer are gone (Did he die? It's been a few years, may need to recap)
Who says he has to? Megatron warped his mind so thoroughly in Energon. And the Unicron Singularity was also messing up everyone's memories anyway.BeastProwl wrote:and all of the while, Starscream STILL Hasn't recovered his memories of Armada,
Superion Maximus killed Constructicon Maximus, and then Bruticus Maximus. He himself apparently died after the battle, but his eyes lit up later, so maybe he's alive. Probably went back to guarding the Super Energon like before.BeastProwl wrote:And the energon combiners have totally vanished.
Circuit Planet =/= Velocitron.BeastProwl wrote:One of the only real consistancys I can think of between Energon and Cyberton is the "Speed Planet". In Energon, HotShot's the one who introduced it to us in the racing episode, (one of only two episodes optimus uses his armed combination as apposed to his flight combination I might add) Then in Cybertron, he arrives, and doesn't know jack about it.
Because this combination is different from the one they did in Energon, and their memories are so messed up that they don't remember having combined like they did during Energon, and so Optimus doesn't think they can pull off this new one after their failed attempt to do so back in the Chaar asteroid belt.BeastProwl wrote:Another thing. Wingsaber combines with optimus in Energon. Yet, in Cybertron, when they combine, they act so surprised! Why? Wasn't it like, just a couple years ago that Wingsaber was born from the nobel wingdagger and givin combination abilities? now he's a pompus ass who's known optimus (As wingsaber) Since before the series. He even has a record!
It is a lot to swallow, yes, but attempts to rectify these discrepancies have been made. It wouldn't have been so mind-boggling, if GONZO and Takara hadn't tried to write it as a reboot and instead went with it as a sequel like it was meant to be.BeastProwl wrote:I can't ignore these differences. There are just WAY to many. I accept it as a seperate series altogether. Of course, this is all from memory (Not recent either) So feel free to correct me, and I know one of you guys will...

SirSoundwaveIV wrote:This is sort of late but...Shadowman, why does a highly advanced robot from a even more advanced planet that has gone through millions of years of war have to act like any human you've ever known? No one on Earth has experienced something quite like Starscream had, so I don't see why that's a legit criticism...

Er, Optimus is back to being Orion again, remember? Now the two are alike.Shadowman wrote:No, no, no. Jack is nothing like Optimus. They said that, at one point, Optimus was like Jack, and the potential for jack to become like Optimus exists, but right now, the two are nothing like each other.

We see Jack and Arcee on Cybertron in one of the trailers for season 2.DJ1107 wrote:I highly dobt we'll see Cybertron. At best we'll get an explanations that Vector Sigma was launched into space along with the knights of Cybertron during the great war and crash landed on earth or the moon. Thats my take on it.

Which one did you see?DJ1107 wrote:Huh my apologise I didn't see the 2nd trailer. I just watched it and well I once again have mix feelings. So do the Autobots or the Decepticons have enough energy and resources to make a new space bridge? Starscreams back which makes me unhappy since I hate that S.O.B. and there doesn't seem to be alot of Optimus...'scuse me Orion in this trailer. The biggest shock though is that There is a Vehicon talking!

The only episodes that are truly filler in season 1 are "Scrapheap", "Con Job" and "Speed Metal".DJ1107 wrote:The 2 to 3 episodes when Starscream was in charge I consider filler i.e. Predatory, Deus Ex machina, Scrapheap, Master & Student, Con Job, & Speed Metal. Sure they introduced the other three Con's but still.
I don't know what "it" is. You haven't shown me anything.DJ1107 wrote:I called it trailer 2 because I thought the first trailer was when Orion was getting his Decepticon badge.
