Chalk it up to either Motive Decay or Sanity Slippage. Maybe a combination of both. Let's face it, the Megatrons across the franchise have never been a picture of mental health.

BW Megs went off the deep-end around the time of Beast Machines, when he developed his fanatical hatred of organics. Animated Megatron...well, probably had his own issues.

At least he didn't break down or throw a tantrum when he knew he was beaten. He simply swallowed his pride, admitted defeat, and told Optimus to go ahead and get it over with by killing him, only for Optimus to respond, "That would be the easy way out," and slap some cuffs on him. Megs was humbled, humiliated, and brought before the Cybertronian public like some prized hog, yet he made no fuss about it, only glaring in silent displeasure.Archanubis wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Animated Megatron at least seemed to keep levelheaded throughout his term, even when controlling Omega Supreme.
At least until everything started falling apart in the last episode...

Post-season 3, he stood coldly yet collectedly inside his cell in Trypticon Prison, and, after irately yet calmly speaking a bit about Optimus Prime, gave his final words to the audience: "Now, if you'll excuse me, my trial is set to commence in the morning and I must be rested for that farce."

Well, had season 4 come about, it would have resulted with him blasting the entire Kaon prison city off of Cybertron and escaping back to Earth with all of Kaon as his new island fortress.Red 50 wrote:How did that work out for him?

Shockwave said he had microchips his old Pred clones so he could track them (or, in this case, their remains). What he said about Predaking was something like "the beast is fully under my control."TheBossII wrote:Now i wonder what sort of voice predaking will have? For some strange reason a heavy British accent would almost fit himIn all seriousness, you could tell from the very first time you seen predaking he was up to something. Doesn't shockwave have some sort of chip on them that makes them loyal? I thought i heard about something like that in the first few episodes?
No, but we know Peter Mensah's voicing Predaking.Shadowman wrote:TheBossII wrote:Now i wonder what sort of voice predaking will have?
That reminds me, we still haven't heard news on who Gregg Berger's playing, have we?
