Was he referring to the cyclone clips?![]()
But there was a conclusion. All six shorts got posted on Hasbro's website.o.supreme wrote:I missed where CN confirmed these were shorts... they appeared to me to be clips from upcoming episodes. Why would they make a short of a story about Autobots & Decepticons going after new Minicons that has no conclusion?

psj333 wrote:Madeus_Prime, that might be true. However, what you might not realize is that the last two issues of the IDW RID comics are being used as prequels to Season 2.
psj333 wrote:Also if Clipshade chose not to show up for Season 2, then so be it. But I'm quite certain that Hasbro will introduce an Autobot spy for Season 2, to say the least.
psj333 wrote:This is not to say that Decepticon characters are not popular, but they did it on purpose. Why? They needed more time to finish creating all props and accessories for fans to use.

Hard to say. It's been strangely silent on that front.
As a side note: I'm not saying it won't happen, but toys don't necessarily guarantee show appearances. By that same token, Quillfire and Springload getting new toys doesn't guarantee they'll be back this season.
It would be fun to see SOME callbacks to Prime like Ratchet or Fowler.
o.supreme wrote:I doubt any humans from Prime would appear, but it would be nice as we could approximate the passage of time between the end of Prime & RID. It could be 20 years, or 200 for all we know.
Someone on another board once said that, based on what's supposed to happen in Rescue Bots season 4, it would be hilarious if Crown City's populace already knew about the existence of the Transformers (with Denny and Russell at this show's beginning being the odd exception) and that the Bee Team going out of its way to hide themselves and pretend they aren't alive all this time was for nothing.Shuttershock wrote:o.supreme wrote:I doubt any humans from Prime would appear, but it would be nice as we could approximate the passage of time between the end of Prime & RID. That actually would be kind of an interesting thought. At least it would explain why Bee never goes back to any of his old contacts on Earth or Cybertron. Also explains why Cybertron is fully up and running, enough so that the Decepticon we've seen could be new waves of Predacons.
Still, to me it would have made sense to try to contact Fowler at least once, him being their former liaison with the government and all who might be able to help with crowd control.

The thing most people forget about Energon's whole "Cybertron Cities on Earth" and "Autobots working with humans:" thing is that all those cities were located in remote, uninhabited areas of the world far away from all populated human civilizations. And all the people who lived and worked in those cities were specifically either government personnel or their family members. There were no regular civilians who weren't affiliated with the government in that show. The Cybertron Cities and every human who worked in them were all completely cut off and isolated from the rest of the world, with the show never taking the characters into any normal human cities or civilizations outside of the Cybertron Cities.o.supreme wrote:That is one of the reasons why I never liked TF: Cybertron. Though it was for younger audiences, and an anime. The fact that in the US version it was supposed to be the 3rd part of a Trilogy, where the TF's go back to "Robots in Disguise" after um... having whole cities of their own on Earth in Energon, and working with humans?? Also it probably didn't help that I watched Galaxy Force first where this truly was a separate series as it was intended to be.
