Hi guys.
We had a proper old-school war planned for the June tourney, with a special significance to the game as it his 15 years old very soon. But, as it stands, we simply do not have enough players to make it worth running.
We need your ideas. How do we get more players, especially on the bot side to either join or return?
We will be using be the news function, and there will be a prize for the winners on both sides, but we are out of ideas and REALLY want this to happen as we've been planning it for almost 6 months.
Anyone?

What about a one time XP/Energon bonus to the Bots side.
I know Burn has made this offer before but maybe do it in a News item.
Set a date any Bot that signs up in that thread by that date gets the XP. It'd have to be tiered to their Level (100K to a level 0 is huge but to anything higher than a 3 its hardly noticeable)
Another idea to go along with that is to maybe bring in some of our RL friends (I'm sure some of us have those, right?) and convince them to play as Bots & entice them with the XP/Energon bonus. For those that are already Bots you can play alongside and help guide them and for those that are Cons you can start a friendly in-game rivalry with them.
Also in the past we advertise the events as they're about to start. Maybe give people some more notice so they can get their bearings before jumping straight into an event.
That's all I got right now but it's early-ish here & my caffeine hasn't kicked in yet.

The Iacon forum has basically died. I can't say much since I rarely post anymore. I agree it would be great for some of the old players to return. I am not sure what be the best way outside of a mass pm to the old players. The xp and energon boost be nice.
