The Strange Lack of Things for Fort Max
The Strange Lack of Things for Fort Max

It isn't like Fort Max has been ignored completely. But pretty much all we've gotten for him is two new weapons, a sword (which is redundant for anyone who went SDCC or import, anyway) and a gun. But that's it. And both of those were adapted from earlier add-ons that Perfect Effect made for G1 Fort Max, so in a way there has been nothing truly new made for the Titans Return version.
There's a ton more that could be done for him, not the least of which would be a Gasket and Grommet so that he could have all of his little buddies.
Why do you think third party companies are ignoring Fort Max? Did stuff for Metroplex not sell as much as they hoped? Is Metroplex just a more popular character that the third party companies feel there was more of a market for? Has the market just changed in the last few years and add-on accessories aren't as in demand as they once were?
Because it seems to me that Fort Max, even more than Metroplex was, is a lovely blank canvas just begging for the third parties to paint onto. Yet they seem to be pretty much leaving him alone.

Also, maybe some ramps that tip down and cover the fists. And some hip cannons for a more G1 overpowering look. And I agree that Gasket and Grommet are needed!!

Myself I'd love to see Maketoys make a perfect Fort Max, the same size as the G1 figure but with the articulation, detail and quality one would expect from a Maketoys product. Shame it'd never happen and if it did it'd cost like £1000.

Just give it some time. I think they were waiting to see exactly what Max would come with and what changes were made. I'm really hopeful that someone will make use of all the empty space in his legs and that empty spot on his arm (that used to be Plex's flip-out cannon).

Not sure if this is something I'd feel a great need for. The Cerebros upgrades I could take or leave. (Especially since it would change the color of my SDCC Cerebros's legs!) The hands do look really nice. The belly cannons also look nice, and are an iconic part of Fort Max's G1 look, but again, I could live without them. For $50? Probably not. But if this ever goes on sale, I might get this set.
Still waiting on a Gasket & Grommet, if anyone wants to make one!

Hopefully some sort of adaptor will be made to allow the original G1 guns to be used -i'd be fine with using them to decorate the other modes.
I wouldn't say no to a replacement for the helipad part too - one that clipped on instead of the original - which is fun to use as a little tank anyway along with the double cannon and the titanmaster.
Perhaps something that partially transforms.
Also his companion robots would be nice to see with some Titanmaster compatibility -and enhanced with some joints.
We could also do with a Handgun for Cerebros.
----
There was also the slide-ramps we only saw the once - they'd be useful to have too.
