Bay Himself has already expressed his interest in moving away from Transformers Franchise & move on to other Movies hopefully Bad Boys 3 will be among them.
Walhberg I think never does Sequels so I don't expect him back in 5 or 6 not unless they offer him a ton of Cash.
While the newest rumors Suggest Dwayne Johnson or Bruce Willis to be the new Main Star or Stars in Transformers 5.
This could be an interesting move, if you remember there have been talks of a GI Joe/Transformers Cross Over Film, If Willis & Johnson are in 5 this could set that up.
As Johnson plays Road Block & Willis played General Joe the Original GI Joe.
So interesting Possibility There.
I think Micheal Bay should Jump On with the Mass Effect Movie & be its Director.
Do you have reliable sources for this?Rodimus2006 wrote:Micheal Bay & Walhberg have said Repeatedly they would not be in Transformers 5.
While promoting his upcoming release The Gambler, Wahlberg spoke with MTV about the future of the Transformers franchise and seemingly confirmed his involvement in the upcoming sequel as well as possibly another sequel or two: "Yeah, I committed to doing a couple more... you know I can’t speak for Mr. Bay, but something tells me we’ll be on the set soon."

I understand Bay not coming back & I think he has done more than enough I think Bay wants to move on & do new things. or Work on his other Films maybe finally Bad Boys 3.
Walhberg I think only signed on to do the 1 film so I didn't expect him back in movies 5 or 6.
Optimus Prime may not even be in movie 5 considering Prime went off into Space to find his Creators which I think are the Quints just done in a new Way.
Meaning Movie 5 may not even be in the same time line or Continuation & could also even be another possible Reboot.
I am hoping Paramount Continues from where AOE leaves off from.
learning more about the Creators & hopefully & finally a 1st Time Appearance or set up for Unicron being the Creators Trump Card.
The Creators are Pissed so they send out Unicron to Destroy Planet Earth. Unicron would also be a new Deal & done in a Brand new Way to fit in Live Action Universe.
I hope some body like Roland Emmerich or Bret Ratner takes over for Bay.
While maybe Ultra Magnus, Rodimus could take over for Optimus.
I also hear the Transformers in Movie 5 could also see a New Look, this makes sense to me considering this will be a new Director.
Hopefully it wont look to Cartoony. as I like the Movie Bot Transformers & I think they should remain As Is.
So movie 5 could be in a Brand New Direction cant wait to learn more but 2016 is a long time away.
Hopefully GI Joe 3 & Star Trek 3 comes out 1st.
I wholehearted agree with you, but I just have no faith in this happening at this point. It's become clear that the filmmakers want to portray the Autobots as Rambo-style "heroes" rather the classic Saturday morning Superman type of heroes, whether we like it or not. Not helping the matter further is how the filmmakers also seem to want to portray the majority of the bad guys (be they Decepticons, KSI robots, etc.) as savage killing machines instead of actual characters with any real depth beyond "Smash! Kill! Destroy!", thus leaving our "heroes" have no choice but to kill them. And the filmmakers also seem to think that vicious methods of the kills are what people deem as "cool" and "mature". These films have thrived on appealing to the lowest common denominator, giving us violent Autobots fighting shallow, one-dimensional villains, and as sad as it is, they'll more than likely not want to break what they deem as not broken (since it keeps bringing in the big bucks).Seibertron wrote:My biggest request for Bay and company ... please please please stop having Optimus and the Autobots say things like "we will kill you" or things of that nature. The Autobots should all be likable characters and shouldn't want to kill things. Yah, it's war. We get it. Killing and death is part of war. The good guys should have remorse for when there are casualties in war. They should always protect and cherish other life! So far, I can't really tell why anyone would really like the Autobots in Michael Bay's films. Bumblebee was alright up until AOE. Thanks to his portrayal in AOE, I really am not a fan of him either any more. There is little compassion from the Autobots in Bay's films and therefore I have little compassion for them unfortunately.

Once you start you can't stop... Look at the last set of actors... They did 3... I seriously doubt they would just drop the actors and bring in new ones for the last two movies.
#1 It would mean re-starting characters and storylines for humans.
#2 Talking about spotty! (Even with the spotty story lines we get with these movies...)
Bay will return seriously... I doubt he has gone to TF rehab yet.

The greatest part of your analogy here is that when you take a look at Shia LeBoufs life and career shortly after Dark of the Moon, it totally fits with some strung out, washed up, Hollywoood crack addict.
I always figured that Whalburg would be back and to be honest, I've gotten used to Bay doing these films. Switching gears at this point would just mess up the whole flow of these things. I mean lets be real here folks, these are kids films and most of you are adult fans. Do you really have a leg to stand on when it comes to criticizing these films? No, you really don't. You are never going to get the films that you want out of the Transformer franchise. Never. Deal with it and enjoy them for what they are because different actors and different directors are not going to ever get you what you really want and everybody knows it or at least they should by now.

theres not much really kid friendly about the movies though. transformers prime is a perfect example of how a kid friendly movie should be like that adults can also enjoy. there was good mix of action, tension, and humor that anyone could watch but thats just my opinion
