Very nice, D-Max! I think the powerlinx colors work even better than the regular colors for this combination. 1 thing I never liked though was Jetfire's wings down by the legs. I always turn mine up behind his butt.

I never minded the wings on the lower legs, it always reminded me of Ramjet.

That trio really does look great with Ultra Magnus.

I like the leg-wings as well. They give the same sort of "cape" effect as Dirge and Ramjet's wings.

Also did you know you can combine them in vehicle modes as well? The little white guy from Magnus should be able to hook up with the back of Prime's trailer, and you can set Jetfire on top of Magnus in shuttle mode.

Yes, it's like a (relatively) modern version of the Triple Combination Battlestar Attack.

Someone should seriously take pictures of those combinations together. Along with some photos of the TCBA that weren't made for mid-late '90s filesize and bandwidth limits.

I did know that, just never attempted it. I might, just not yet, i love the powerlinx tower of Prime

I always liked that Ratbat figure. Something about having a giant face as his chest. Same reason I like Megabolt Megatron. That Soundwave, though, I never cared for. Always thought it was too flimsy.

I got a couple new Unicron Trilogy figures in, including the other 2 Cybertron Jetfire molds and Energon MegaDinobot. Dinobot is so daft, I mean, look at this idiot! It's hilarious!

Picked up the Universe Hot Shot mold as Dion this week. The mold itself isn't very good, but I'm glad I got the exclusive from it. I really like the colors on it. The mold had some great ideas, just not executed to the best of its abilities. The boxing gloves make the robot mode better too

I'm very thankful for the AEC lines giving us members of the 13 Primes in toy form, with Energon and Cybertron specifically giving us 2 of the 8 that are canonical bodies of the 13



And depending on your creativity, you can have a full team of 13 Primes with Nexus and Vector

my first actual deskbot in months: Cybertron Soundwave! Ya know, this is my favorite "classic" soundwave design, and i've come to discover that, much like Ratchet, Soundwave is a sleeper favorite of mine. His IDW2005 and Cyberverse selves really helped seal that over the past couple years. Cyberverse soundwave is my favorite character overall.

This design, especially with the angles and the light piping, is just so cool. It's not necessarily a great toy, but damn do I love it.

You know, I wonder if anybody makes ratcheted or otherwise heavy-duty flight stands. Because Primus knows that most Unicron Trilogy figures above Deluxe - and even some Deluxes - are more than the standard friction-hinge stands can deal with.

I would be interested to see what kind of stands could be used for heavier figures like Cybertron era toys. The stands would be fairly expensive, but would be cool to actually have some of those figures in jumping or flying poses
