As for the wheel bot thing, Demolisher is the only one that I count. Sideswipe presumably could turn his wheel feet into regular feet, and the Arcees had so much wrong with thier designs imo that a wheel was really no big deal. But yes, also Demolisher was gone far too fast, and that sucked. I also would have liked to see robo modes for the other Constructicons.
As for Rampage, I dont really care for the toy because he has no feet and is a pain to standup. The jackhammer thing was good stuff in the movie, but as far as action figures go, I like to be able to have them stand on their own. But the red Rampage is cooler looking than the yellow one, for sure.

By "perfect concept" I meant that I think it was a superior idea to introduce the Constructicons, and that I thought it would be perfect to have the Constructicons in the movie. They are pretty poplular and, I mean, who doesn't love them?
I don't really mind the jackhammer thing on Rampage, though. I'm a big fan of diversity and uniqueness. But I don't think the dull yellow does him justice though. I would rather buy the three pack with the red one.

The movie transformers were totally kickass compared to their G1 counterparts... A lot more action and Prime was way more badass.... But G1 will still have a fond spot in my heart.

I did have one hate. I didn't like the design and look of movie Devastator...... I would have liked something slightly similar to the G1 for him..... The movie version looked like a squatting gorilla about to do a ****..

There were some great designs on the net for him, like this one.
http://users.on.net/~aviannix37/devastator.jpg

Quite like this version.

The only things about Devastator that was to note bad were the wrecking-ball locating, lack (or not displaying) weapons, and the combiners problem.

By problem, i mean the fact that the scene where Constructicons combined, well there was hard to understand that how many machines combined and there seemed to be 2 of Long Haul's Caterpillar trucks: one that was just standing, and one that drove by bulldozer's side to the edge of the cliff.

And how did the two machine's on the cliff's edge combine with the others especially when they formed the legs.

Plus the second front-loader that attached to Hightower. At that size Scrapper should've had someone to link him to the rest of the torso.

One thing in G1 that I specially didn't like was that the Decepticons always lost so heavily, did so little damage, plotted always to get some weapons and failed miserabily.

The movie Con's don't plot that much, they don't try to get the weapons, and they can actually fight, deal some damage

This isn't the energy-war anymore, this is actually war for power and control.

Yeah I thought the same. The Autobots aren't automatically so superior and the Decepticons are very hard to compete with for the most part.

Oh so America influences other countries' humor now too. Great. There's some sickening stuff over here...it's really sad. No ones's funny anymore. Hell, most of the TF wikis' jokes are funnier than most crap nowadays.

Mostly, I love the new aesthetic, it rose to become my new favorite look for TransFormers.
I'm also one of the few who likes Devastator's ROTF design(well, I think we're few, I don't know), but I'm not huge on G1 accuracy, I like the personality and some things to be similar or the same, but I like how Giant Vacuum Bot turned out. The image mentioned a few posts above for Devastator really doesn't seem to fit the Movie look at all, I like how he was executed, what I DON'T like is how he was wasted and how his components are all confusing(I, despite how incorrect this most likely is, shall consider it that there was just 8 Constructicons).
Though, I have yet to see all of G1 as I was born 10 years after it, I'm definitely enjoying it, but the Movies will probably remain my favorite.

However, I find the majority of the movie series's humor to be...not good...

Yeah I agree with you here. I'm also not big on G1 resemblance, since I was also born somewhere around 10 years after. I still love all the classics, though. And I really want MP Prime and Megs, to stand with ROTF Buster Prime and ROTF Megatron. I don't have any of those four currently though.
Yes, people, movie figures are worthy of standing with their G1 counterparts. It's not sacrilege.

So can someone explain why toilet humor seems to pervade so many movies including transformers?

And why can't good comedians make original stuff that isn't that?

The occasional dirty joke isn't so bad. I thought the masturbation/"wants to mate with the female" jokes in the first one were well placed (granted a lot of the humor behind those were the awkward moments they provided). While I don't think any individual joke in ROTF went too far, having Simmon's ass, Devastator's balls, Dickbot the Blender Guy's, uh, dick, and dogs and Wheelie humping, all really just for shock value is too much.

Anyway, I like the action scenes in these movies; it's basically the same way I played with my toys as a kid - limbs torn off, flung off edges, etc.. No wonder few of my childhood toys remain in good condition.
I also love the aesthetic, the realistic alt modes and non-humanoid robot modes. As a kid (and, well, even now) I hated the fact that they ALL transformed from their wonderfully diverse disguises into the "same" humanoid robot -- much less five/six humanoids that combined into an even larger humanoid.
...Technically, I guess most Movie TFs are still "humanoid" - two arms, two legs, one head, no tail, etc. - but they've got distorted proportions, at least.

And don't forget that awful joke when Sam gets Mikaela into his car "I want to ride you home" awkward.......

It was funny the first couple of times but then grows stale.

Ones that annoyed me were his parents... I wanted them dead.

His mother after she eats the doped cookies.. telling all the girls her son lost his virginity ..... Wasn't necessary and just felt like someone threw that in there just for the hell of it. In fact all the scenes with his parents in ROTF ..

I totally agree with the person who started this post. I like all those things about the movies... I really like Bumblebee in G1 though, he might be weak and that but he still probably the most popular character from Transformers.

What I HATED about the movie is all the tits and ass stuff, I mean WTF?! I think it's awesome that Sam has a gf in the movie, but she doesn't have to take almost all the attention, transformers doesn't need that ****. I totally understand that sex sells and all, but I still hated it. (I think Megan Fox is hot though, despite of being dumb)

I agree with you soo much on this! I didn't mind either that he had a girlfriend, but I hated how the movies portrayed her. To be honest, she is mainly there for masturbation fuel, because the writers think that male moviegoers can only think with their dongs, and that they aren't able to enjoy a movie without a jiggling bimbo thrown in.
Also to me the humour in these movies is kind of the 'Derp derp, duhhh this is funny so let's put it in" variety. The writers think that boys/men can't understand a real joke, so they put in ones that they think appeal to the 'male mind.'

Anyway, back on topic.
What I liked better in the movie then G1 was:

Ravage. I liked Ravage in G1, but I loved Ravage's movie incarnation. He looks so deadly, and he has that animal feelwhich I thought was missing in the G1 version. Basically, he acts like an animal, he doesn't talk (that I can remember, anyway) and he's vicious.

Ironhide. He's tough, and his Topkick altform is simply awesome looking.

Barricade. He's not in G1, but he's the one thing that adds major appeal to the movies for me if I chose them over G1. Oh man is he sexy!

Blackout. He's also not in G1, but I found his scenes made the movie stand out over G1, especially when he was fighting the army guys in Qatar.

The Transformers in general. In this movie, I felt like they were alive, and not just robots. Their realism too in itself (though not necessarily all of their designs) was awesome. I liked this over G1, as those looked (at times) like guys in robot suits.

Lastly, The Decepticons. They aren't wimps in these movies. The G1 Cons could be too easily defeated.
I AM THAT WIERD FANGIRL YOU'VE HEARD OF.
