As much as I hate to admit it, I am partial to the original MOTU. Been practicing on the artstyle Filmation used especially on the Sorceress and Tee-La and even Adora. But duragrip makes liking MOTU feel "dirty".

I do so want to open a legit MOTU thread but duragrip already has one which I won't touch with a ten foot stick.

Btw, those fancy meals? I actually don't pay for those as the Hospital I work in foots the bill during seminars/lectures and conferences they, the hospital administration force me to attend........the horror of free expensive meals

I remember a time when I was sent to Singapore for 1 month.......1 month of Hotel and Civil Defence Singaporean MEALS!

Yeah, I need to cut back on the grease...

Went to this great local place on Saturday, Burger Haven. We got there about 1pm, sat on the patio, good stuff.

They had a couple limited specials going, I order the Buffalo with a side of poutine and a chocolate shake. It was brilliant.

My buddy ordered the Elk (same limited special) and gave me a chuck, and that's my next order if we go back while they still have them.

I'm not Singaporean that's for sure but I got assigned there (Singapore) for additional EMT skills advancement. ASEAN and Singapore Foreign Affairs sent me and a team to:

Civil Defence headquarters, Tan Toc Seng and their University Hospital. In the Philippines I was assigned at their University Hospital too. I begged off the Australian (that was my burn out days (no pun intended) and an Israeli assignment (Sorry didn't get to meet Burn or Arctorro , but the Israeli assignment required me to pay for the airfare and I have to risk my neck dodging bombers and vehicle crashers? No way! )

My work, aside from being an EMT, I'm also a manager/supervisor for Emergency Medicine (unbelievable no? facility that handles about 35,000 cases annually ) My persona here is 360 degrees different from my work place.

This isn't as nasty as it looks but this is Braised beef tendons in oyster and/or XO sauce.Tasteless and gooey crunchy. Great on hot steamed rice.

Gotta correct you on this one, fen. It's far from tasteless, as the sauce suffuses the tendons from hours of braising. Also, the dish usually comes with a few pieces of braised brisket.

Haha, I totally get what you mean about the weather! The only thing more masochistic about eating braised food in summer is hot pot with a chili soup base!

You're right about no braising, no taste, though. Funny how everything that gets braised starts out being tasteless.
