He was kidding.

there's rubber treads (functional ones, unlike on RotF Demolishor or Rampage)
Woah, really? I am surprised because everyone was saying that Gen Leader Megatron was the first toy to have working treads since BW Rampage.

But thats because it is a joke, a fan joke. Even though these toys were redecos of part of a combiner (liokaiser), they were not sold with the intention of combining them. But since we fans know they can partly combine, it became a joke to do so and give an unfinished combiner. But its not an official combiner, more of a fan mode.
If you guys want the worse intentional combiner, check out the armada mcdonalds one:

Wow, if thats your worse, your pretty lucky. Any others on this list that you own?
I see some new mentions above and I think it would be even better if we included pics for people to see whats being discussed such as :
Transformers Armada Smokescreen (Grab)
He looks cool, whats bad about him?
Transformers Dark of the Moon Catilla
To be fair, I think all of those are pretty terrible, that triceratops in robot mode
But their minicon ports work in beast mode and those are quite nice!
Transformers Dark of the Moon Catilla Gallery
Plus I now learnt that catilla was also a G1 toy, looks pretty cool, very MOTU:
Transformers G1 1988 Catilla Gallery
And then Amelie mentionned G1 Guzzle. Yeah, pretty rough that for it to work you have to scrape the robot mode. But the movie line gave us an awesome update so that we dont need to anymore
Seriously, avoiding the movie lines make you miss out on some awesome gems. This guy and ROTF Bludgeon to me are as good as it gets for Classic updates to G1 toys.
Oh and while the order of the list is obviously debatable, when you get to having to rank these terrible toys I looked at it as comparing how bad they were to their lines. Like Titanium GiJoe Megatron is the worst of a line that is overall pretty terrible (though I think it shouldnt be totally ignored, I like the Fallen). But Animated Voyager Megatron is from one of the most screen accurate and innovative TF lines of all time. And I have such a hard time believing that the same teams that came up with voyager Optimus also thought up this guy. At least Titanium Megatron has a distinctive alt mode. This guy doesnt, and its not even like the one we see on the show.
I just found him more of a glaring insult to the line than Titanium Megatron. He's more upsetting since the people doing it clearly knew better, but thats personal.
Also, I am really happy no one mentionned MP Megatron so far. I always admired the work and found both modes quite imposing in their own way.
