Mine doesn't have that issue, I've changed him a bunch of times. Not only is he one of the best Titanium figures he's also one of the best Cheetor figures period. Love that thing.

I love him. I remember him getting a lot of hate back in the day, though.

Hes great, imo. Even if hes fiddly

Of the list, my favorite is Studio Series Dropkick. Sure it's not a triple-changer like the one in the film, but that Cobra alt mode is spot on and make a good bot mode too

He was one of my very earliest TF's, some of the leftover Energon stock in an otherwise Cybertron-dominated era that I somehow ended up with. He was the first one whose transformation completely stumped me, even with instructions, so for a long time I refused to attempt it and left him in robot mode. I always did like the design though, so I would play with him often, just not in vehicle mode until I was older. Thankfully I can now appreciate his wicked jet mode too.

There's that one guy that I truly love and I'm sure everyone hates. I love him enough to have double dipped with both the Hasbro and the Takara version, Universe Silverbolt!

The guy have a magnificent bot mode, but he's really just an action figure with HIS WHOLE ALTMODE AS A BACKPACK! Contrary to ER Arcee, he don't even make any effort to hide inside. The plane is just transporting a bot cargo. It's horrible. I should hate it. But I find him so hilarious that I can't help but love it! :lol:

A bit baffling that I forgot him until now.

I don't hate that Silverbolt either. He just doesn't combine into Superion. Other than that he's a pretty great update to G1 Superion. Just as Silverbolt alone I feel he's just as good as the CW version.

But I think Silverbolt is an entirely different case than ER Arcee. Silverbolt has always had his alt. mode as a backpack, so this meets expectations. Arcee hasn't. Her animation models just does away with it and she didn't have a G1 toy to give us any other lasting impressions either.

Plus Legends Arcee does the entire transformation better. It's not a perfect toy either, but I feel as if the backpack there is as minimized as it can be and her legs and chest still function as parts of the car. And, unlike this Silverbolt, they skimped out on ER Arcee's paintjob, so she can't top Legends Arcee in that department either! I also feel the car mode could have been made sleeker. Especially since it's just a shell. Like the bot mode it also suffers from lack of paint.

I have Hasbro's Universe 2.0 Silverbolt, and I don't hate him, but I always found his deco kind of bland. However, I LOVE the Darkwind repaint, and Skyfall is pretty cool, too. The mold's transformation always felt a bit simplistic for the size, but both modes hold together well, and he isn't fiddly at all.

I never really liked Universe Silverbolt. The fact you can basically separate the robot from the jet, and both are basically complete and functional really annoyed me. I like my robot modes to use the alt mode parts as more than a huge bavkup.

Energon did it much better in my opinion in both modes and it combined too.

I'm on Team Universe Silverbolt. I have all three of Hasbro's releases of the mold and only wish Silverbolt's colors were as accurate as Darkwind's are, he really wears those Darkwing colors well!

The under bot doesn't bother me any, I like how compact he becomes and that they added vents making him look more like some sort of super sonic external engine.

By the way, I don't think anyone hates Stalker. He isn't well known due to him not being released in the US, but the mold is fine and it's another original G1 character that has popped up again in fiction recently. Would be fun to own the original.

Beside, there's a rule in collecting this mold and it's to get them as cheap as possible.
