Let the "Beast Hunt" begin! Our gallery of Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" images from Toy Fair 2013 is live. Stand outs include Voyager Shockwave (who's armor does come off), Ultra Magnus, and Grimwing. We also got a look at the new Deluxe Ratchet, Dreadwing, and Skystalker. Of course the new Supreme Class Optimus Prime and Predaking were on display. There wasn't a lot of Cyberverse on display, but we did get a look at the new Legions Class Soundwave, Prowl, and Commander Class Trailcutter. I really dig that Grimwing.

Supreme Optimus looks all leg. The proportions look way off.

First off, thanks for all the great coverage to the Seibertron staff! All of your pics and videos are fantastic and let us share in all the action.

I'm a little miffed they didn't have the Grimlock vs. Bruticus on display.

I really like Grimwing and Shockwave. Ratchet and Skystalker look kinda weird but okay. I'll probably get Ratchet even with his strange colors because he's been my favorite 'Bot on TFP. Finally, I really don't know what to make of the new Dreadwing. He looks...odd. Definitely a lot of mistransformations (as usual) when you compare most of these guys with their official images!

We knew his armor came off from the first time we saw him. It was in big giant letters right next to his photo. And a lot of people, for some reason, didn't bother to read anything. >:oP

I'm excited for Shockwave. My interest in Magnus is slowly fading, and my interest in Grimwing is rising.

Prime would be OK of he didn't have a pinhead.
Some 3rd party will probably take care of that (Dr Wu I'm looking your way)

I'm liking Shockwave more and more with each new set of pics.

I'll probably get both voyager and supreme Predaking, both look good, and both look different enough.
One will be Predaking Junior or something. Hey, they did it in Godzilla, why not?

OK, so having seen some photos of Ripclaw that don't have her really derpily transformed (most pics show her with her Beast Mode legs incorrectly configured) I like her a lot more.

Shockwave still looks awesome, as do the bird-bot things. Might pass on Magnus though.

Welp, it's decided. I'll just have to buy them all.

And Leader Optimus.

And a few of the Cyberverse figures. (Getting all of the Predacons, though!)

On another note, I ask Primus to forgive me for doubting Shockwave before. Both his Cyberverse Commander and his Voyager look awesome.

As is only... logical.

Shockwave might be one the few figures I buy this year. He does look pretty good!

I have no love for the others, although some look equally good, but I'm keeping my plastic under control.

What's with that glaring yellow on most of the 'Cons?
Ultimate Optimus has an astonishingly tiny head and weirdly long legs.

Cyberverse Shockwave and Abominus are a must for me. Probably any other small-scale Predacons, too.

The Cyberverse toys (some) are kind of goofy looking (Except Prowl and Shockwave, but despite his lack of hands, at least we get Soundwave as well as Airachnid). As for the big guys, Dreadwing and Ratchet are kind of goofy looking, but Skystalker rocks!

The Voyagers are really cool to me (mostly SW and Grimwing, because Magnus is in need of more paint, but hey, he's back to being a redeco of OP ( :lol:

) and he seems to be the off-screen character with a lot of toys)!

Anyway...what's that, Magnus? You got AM Prime's forearms? Nothing, it's just that it looks so...excellent! But whats more excellent is that he has the Forge of Solus Prime!

Cyberverse Shockwave does look better than the Voyager right now. I like the gun a lot more on that one, but we've not seen everything the Voyager has to offer.

i apologize if this has been answered a lot but...

are these new beast hunter designs for the reacuring characters gonna be featured on the show itself...or is this simply for the toyline? if the show itself answered that i apologize as canada is still in the middle of airing season 2. i recently bought the blu-ray from the american amazon so i'm halfway through that. (and whats up with season 2 only being available on dvd in canada?)

anyway so yeah, if the season finale answers my question fine but i aint there yet and i'm worried. those design look craptacular and scream "we're toys". so i sincerly hope its a toy only thing. i know the beast hunter storyline is part of season 3 so i imagine those beast robots will be around but thats cool.... i just dont want the characters suddenly wearing "beast armor".

this is an american cartoon for 2012, not some anime crap from the 90s.

We don't know. Season three hasn't aired yet.

Considering the "main" line AND the Kre-O line are now focusing on Beast Hunters, and that they've created all of these new molds and even new characters, is there really any doubt that the cartoon is going to follow suit?

Dreadwing, like Starscream and Bulkhead, I wish was bigger but I like the designs.

I know this opinion isn't shared by everyone, but I don't think there's a bad Predacon in the entire line. If I get nothing else from this line but the Preds I'll be a happy chappy. That bear/eagle thing is especially impressive. Makes me think of Breakdown crossed with Dreadwing/Skyquake.

Shockwave is very nice, though I think the beast armour is going in the bin.

Magnus looks good in 'bot mode but vehicle mode is a bit lacking to me.

The size comparison shot with Shockwave and big boy Predaking made my undies a little damp. That fella is HUGE!!! :BOOM:

I'm really beginning to think that a lot of these new body upgrades won't make it into the show and are just for the toyline's "Tales of the Beast Hunters" micro-continuity pack-in storyline.
