I recently sold my Planet X Swoop in favour of Toyworld offerings. I really want to support TW as I think their Dinobots fit perfectly into a Classics/Generations display (the combining aspect is a bonus for those that will) but I can only see myself owning them if my Lotto numbers come up!
With all the Combiner Wars stuff and others gaps to fill I wondered if would be truly content with dropping these guys and grabbing the Platinum G1-esque decoed AoE Dinobots as my Dinos..?

The moulds are fun (I have the SDCC set) and the classics series are filled with mismatching styles (especially when you get into 3rd party stuff).
That said, you pay for quality. I have the Toyworld and FP sets and I'm very happy with both. I'd be ASTONISHED is HasTak ever made a set of voyagers with matching colours for the dinos. Then again, I didn't think they'd make combiners like they are either.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

My goodness that thing is GARGANTUAN!
And check it out. Swoop is blue. Sweet!
Finally got a hold of Muddy after I had to exchange the first one due to a defect. BBTS's customer service is great BTW.
Ya, he is as I thought. the goofiest of these dino modes, but he kinda should be derpy. The bot mode surely makes up for it. The thigh swivel isn't impeded by the lower leg, like on Roar. Which is good.
I'm happy with these guys so far.
Awe geez Alb, nothing that bad. Sorry to hear that.albnok wrote:What defect? Is one of his robot shoulders backwards (meaning they used the other piece?) Mine is that way - his right shoulder uses the left shoulder's part, and I wonder if yours was the other way around! (Like this: https://instagram.com/p/2lp6pLLSgP/)
I also broke one of Grimshell's left fingers because they didn't clip the mold spruce behind the knuckle properly. Given I'm in Malaysia we don't really have exchange policies per se.

The folding panel on his left arm that you open to get the fist out was miss molded so it just fell off all the time. Looks like they need to tighten up QC a bit.
Did you buy yours locally or from Asia?
Ya, it's kinda cool that he is an "oddity".albnok wrote:That said, I've not actually tried asking if I can return it, but I consider it a small cosmetic matter, and a defect that makes him rare.
Sorry, I know this. I should have said "mainland" or "off island".albnok wrote:But to answer your question, yes to both, because Malaysia is in Asia.
Ya, I always liked slag's sword the best. I'm trying to like his "tomahawk".mbd88prime wrote:slag doesn't have a sword!?!? that's very dumb.
