Because they knew it sucked big time!

I have heard a few reasons myself: One being that it is too volient (Ha! Not hardly!) and the other being the reference to steriods (more believeable, yet lame all the same)

I like my reason better! It sucked HUGE!

You're just mad because Megs wasn't in it. :P

Seriously, though, we do need some Cons. At least Thrill of the Hunt gave us a few seconds, but we're reaching a point where it's gonna get ridiculous. Lockdown was good for holding us over til then, but still. I'm really curious to see Blitzwing in battle. See, I'm not a total Autobot lover. In fact, all of my t-shirts are Con shirts. Only one has Prime, and that's because Megs is on it too.

Naw...I am unhappy because it sucked to the highest level of sucktitude, but hardly "mad".......I sorta expected there to be at least 2 or 3 eps that hit those lofty levels of suck, considering it's a kids' show for one, and on Cartoon Network for two (Cartoon Network Studios is notorious for producing pure ca-ca....Look at Fosters Home and Chowder, for cryin' out loud! They are "suck" of the highest calibre)!

I don't even watch anime'...haven't for years....I find it rather inane, to be honest. I watch a lot of older cartoons myself, and for the same reason you do, back then they actually cared!

The anime I watch is different from the one you can see on Tv...

I just love the quality of the old Disney films and the loonytoons, They look good, they are entertaining and concidering that back then they had much more episodes than todays cartoons, they must have been chaeper to make.

I mean the technology for animation has evolved over the decades, while animation itself has devolved. It's a shame.

I have seen all sorts of anime' over the years, and I have not liked any of it..and most of the stuff I have seen has been stuff NOT aired on TV...I just do not like the Asian way of story-telling...just personal preference.

Older Disney films are incredible! How they did the things they did without the use of computers is just staggering! I own quite an extensive Disney movie collection myself! As for WB animation, it's alright...I prefer MGM myself!

It's not animation itself that as devolved, as I see it...It is the thought behind said animation that has devolved! No one wants to tell a decent story anymore, all they wanna do is dazzle the eyes! Pity!

Yes the story telling is mostly crap, I just like watching those that are kinda special, like real awesome animation, interesting overall plot. So far I have grown quite fond of Gantz ans Speedgrather, I just love the story behind them, it evolves slowly is told in a mostly adult way and if you think you know what's gona happen next, you'll be surprised. But they are a few amongst the butload of crap they try to feed you.

What I still don't understand is, why do people say this is the same art style like Batman The animated series?
BTAS was much darker, smover and didn't show everybody with huge chins, and humans looked like humans, just with harder lines, if you can say so in English.

I am odd, so it seems. I am not one to let eye-candy make a show or movie for me. I MUST have a continuous and fluid plot of quality to make something worth watching. Nothing coming out of Asia has EVER delivered that to the western world, IMHO.
Sadly, the American moviemaking and animation style has gone to that of "Spend $894 buttzillion of SFX and $.72 on screenplay"....HATE IT!

I don't think you're odd, everybody has there preference, most people in Germany hate Venom and made Panini stop printing Venom pure Venom comics, Fing bastards I love him.
That's what I hate about most films tease days, they are like kids trying to impress with there new toys, in this case the toys are computer generated special effects.
What I also look for in cartoons and movies af all sorts are interesting characters, and if they have some kind of secret to them, I like them more.

The reason I hate anime is because they can take a plot that I find somewhat interesting and completely bungle it by being goofy. For instance, I decided to give Full Metal Alchemist a chance. I thought it seemed kinda dark and maybe worth my time. WRONG! After the second or third completely goofy face I turned it off. Plus there are other quirks that I find irritating in most anime. The quivering eyes, the constant "huh?" (you should know what I'm talking about), the ridiculous expressions. I effin hate it.

That's the crap I have been referring to, granted Gantz has bigger than normal eyes to, but not as extream as some other shows, and no goofy faces.

I forgot to mention what I hate the most about anime: the lousy, sleepwalking voice work. Seriously, it sounds like the voice actors were mumbling their way through the script, like they are bored to tears with it. At least TA has some energetic, TALENTED voice work.
