For the Bayhem fans and Bumblebee dislikers. You people have 5 movies, don't be selfish and want the next one to be a Bayformers again. At least break try to break even with 5 decent to good Bumblebee like movies before you Bayform again.
You talk like people can't enjoy both the films that came before and this one.

Well, doesn't have to be part of your personal canon. But as clearly stated, the FubPub and 3H comics are canon to the Transformers mythos.
At the time they were released, 3H's media was viewed by the fandom as being on the same level as anything else, since there were no other Beast Wars or Beast Machines comic series out at the time. Fans were starving for more Transformers comics and 3H was the only option that gave people exactly that, for better or for worse.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Nexus Knight wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:TrypticonCarne wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:When was Arcee ever a Spider?

Redundant links aside, I'm talking about canon from the perspective of a mainstream line. Be that a cartoon, film, video game or high profile comic book publisher, such as Marvel, Dreamwave or IDW. Anything else is just a novelty wiki page and/or con-exclusive repainted oddity.

Right, just in her first Hasbro-produced transforming toy ever made, complete with Susan Blu's voice in a voice box accessory.AllNewSuperRobot wrote: I now know Acree was never a spider in any cartoon, film or any of the mainstream examples I gave above,

Heh, they had to practically beg Hasbro to let them make the toy, since it was the first time a new toy of a major G1 character who'd never gotten a full toy before (let alone Arcee) would be getting one in the 21st Century, and that was a practice that simply wasn't done at the time. Just the fact that it got made was a miracle, since there was no way on God's green Earth back then that Hasbro would have produced an all new mold for something that wasn't directly a part of Beast Machines. G1 was dead to them back then, and 3H was only allowed to use preexisting molds for everything they did, so they simply made Arcee as Beast Wars Arcee, just like how Hasbro had made the anomalous one-off that was Beast Wars Grimlock four years earlier.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Which would have meant more, if the design were being used in a show. Plus being something more unique than just a Blackarachnia redeco.

It's a shame that didn't last. Now thanks to the "evergreen" mandate, the opposite is true and creativity has been thrown out the window.
