Didn't we just talk about being respectful of posts? Things can be different in hand. Especially when its something that has to be physically felt, again that's a verdict I wouldn't jump to.Delta Magnus wrote:It's the fact that light literally shines through the plastic that worries me- that shows it's not only thin, but pretty wanky too.shajaki wrote:I'm surprised to see people commenting on the plastic quality... when literally no one has him in hand yet.

Followed by those same people saying it was scalpers.

Now, see? This is how a person should post an opinion. It's about the item itself and not those who would buy it. Everyone, please take note of this post and how to share your opinions in the future.

How is throwing a few quirky jokes that contain absolutely no profanity into my comments offensive? Are we adults here, or are we 5 year olds? Is there really anyone on this site that is about to break into tears because I made fun of Hasbro Devastator?
Rated X wrote:Autobot032 wrote:Just because someone can't afford 3rd party doesn't make them cheap. Just because it was designed with kids in mind doesn't make it cheap.
In my comment I specifically mentioned “parents of 5 year olds” being cheap. I never attacked Transformers collectors of any income. I stand by my statement about parents being cheap because they know most little boys break their toys.

Newborn babies come right out of the whom with knowledge of G1 Devastator, Metroplex, and other 30 year old characters, right? I think collectors actually have a great amount of influence in the creation of the CHUG lines. Combiner Wars is proof of that. There’s always a kiddie line like RID, TF Prime, Animated, or simplified movie toys released every year for the kids on the shelves in much larger quantities. The reason CHUG still exists in its evolving forms is because of adult collectors. It is my personal opinion that the day we stop buying, CHUG is done.

Some people like their chicken wings plain and bland. For me that is really boring. I like to throw on some hot sauce. I totally understand a staff member stepping in if profanity or personal insults become an issue. But should they really be stepping in and attacking people who don’t type comments in dull, robotic jargon? If everyone spoke like G1 Perceptor, these forums would be a total snoozefest.

Check out below some close ups of the combined Constructicon robot, find more here, and compare them to the ones we have in the Seibertron.com galleries! What do you think, better or worse? Still excited about this release?

Does it cost upwards of 400 dollars? Nope.
And for those of you who like to buy 3rd party, I'm somewhat jealous; it must be nice to be able to drop an extra $300 on something to make sure it's absolutely perfect.
But even then, the third party toys arent perfect. For instance, just look at the head sculpts and tell me which one looks best compared to this:
Do any of these heads:
Beat this one?
Nope! Not saying they are inferior, but 400$ still wont buy perfection. Hence why I couldnt care less for those when I have a Hasbro Devy for 150-170$. And plus, he has a great headsculpt. And to the first person to say "but wait, you can buy the upgrade for...", oh yeah like the first thing I want to do when I pay 400$ for a toy is to spend even more to fix it. No thanks!
