I really enjoyed the experience of ROTF - it really felt like you were a gigantic robot fighting in massive environments.
Here, I just think it looks like DOTM will have the same problems as WFC - a bit claustrophobic, and more of a linear shooter than a robo-basher. I am glad the "custom" Transformer idea didn't make it in here.

I really can't get my head around why people would like the ROTF game in any way..the single player reeked of a movie game made just to satisfy that market (suuuper linear(not that WFC isn't, but atleast you had a new story and lots of varying challenges along the way, as well as tons of bosses)), and the multiplayer was so one sided, you pretty much HAD to use megatron or optimus, everyone else sucked, and most people just got up onto the bridges higher points and sniped from across the map... (thats another thing, ROTF barely had any maps) How could you not want customization? It takes the sweet stuff from call of duty like killstreaks as well as creating classes. WFC was way more advanced than any TF game that i've played (haven't played that armada one on N64). You feel claustraphobic in WFC? thats crazy, coz theres so many maps that allow you to fly around actually in pursuit of other vehicle mode bots and lock on and kill em. Sorry to rant, I am just a bit baffled, perhaps you can explain what exactly you did like in rotf that wfc didn't have.

Agree with you on WFC being the best TF game since Armada(which was on PS 2 btw. Do yourself a favor and play it, it's amazing!) And the multiplayer was amazing. Even though it looks like you can only use pre existing characters, hopefully you still build them up like you could in WFC, so as to add you own personal spin on the character make it your own. I'm REAL excited for the game, looks just as good as WFC.

wigglez323 wrote:Yeah sure, the trailer looked epic. But so did the first movie game before everbody found out it sucked. I'm not trying to bash DOTM, but it's a movie game. I have WFC and I think it could equal CoD if it caught the right eyes. This might have a different take on things though. I remember someone in a different thread saying that people would get confused on why the earth vehicles are side strafing. If you played WFC and side strafed as a tank, you just have to know that cybertronian tech would stay as cybertronian tech even after they come to earth or else they couldn't transform either. But other people would get too confused on that and maybe just not buy it based on their opinions of the first two movie games.
